You get what you pay for
A convenient base for what I needed. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s fairly dated for design and decor but that possibly reflects in the price. The bathroom is about as compact as you can get and the shower is small - I kept knocking the water mixer to “off” while showering. Quiet considering its location. Duvet incredibly heavy for the current weather. No fridge, but plenty of ice available .

Excellent service, excellent staff. Rooms were clean, fresh and comfortable. Food was delicious. Located seconds away from great restaurants and only minutes away from shopping centers and access to highways. I would gladly stay there every time. Staff remembered me the second time I was there, and this made me feel even more welcome.

This is an excellent choice , location great , service great , breakfast was excellent for its star rating , better than most other places , everything fresh , i loved the room so nice and quiet . I also asked for a ground floor because of my knee and they were so accomodating . Ice machine is a bonus . Loved the whole stay . The cleanliness was amazing

Everything was good especially the bed and it was very clean, and the room services is very good. The management is very helpful clean outside good staff. The only thing I would like you guys to improve is food. The tv is very small e need to buy modern once those once are old.

I booked via Booking.cim. I got to the lodge and paid in full for the room and the breakfast for the following morning. The shower got mould, there was a cockroach in the room. The breakfast station is supposed to be a buffer but there is nothing on it. I was told it's R120 pp and I paid the previous day when I checked in. After having breakfast I was told the price went up and I must pay a further R20. If I paid for it yesterday already at the price I was given, why should I pay more the next Day. Very disappointing and unprofessional. The place becoming run down and the service at reception is terrible. Never again.

Shower space is very small,wish they could place the dust bin in the bedroom as well.Other than that,their service is excellent,and the rooms are clean.

Adequate for what I needed. Very small room even smaller bathroom - thank goodness I was alone. Bed was comfortable and the room was surprising quiet considering it was overlooking the carpark and very close to reception/ breakfast area. Very dated decor. Could do with a facelift. Shower has loads of hot water and good pressure but pees all over the bathroom floor because put poor door seal. Loved the small outdoor area by the pool - has a lovely view out over centurion with a great breeze. Didn’t eat any food there or use any other facilities so can’t comment on those . Enjoyed unlimited access to the ice machine - critical as the room has no fridge .

Terribly unclean and unhygienic
Initial room provided 240, aircon was non functional. We were asked to moved to 153 and TV was not working. Cables exposed.
The shower was filthy to say the least as had to place the bath mat in the shower to shower. The shower floor was in a terrible state like it had not been clean for ages. The linen was mouldy smelling. The room was stuffy like damp smell. I have never been so appalled by the state of a room - and clhg should really look into the review of this road lodge. Don’t operate a hotel if the bare minimum cannot be done. Cleanliness is paramount! I had intentions prior to my stay to rebook a few more nights but the condition completely changed my mind.
