I almost exclusively use Best Western, and my flagship locations are Salem OR and Yakima WA. Unfortunately the Willmar location is a tired hotel, not what you would expect for $200 which is more than any other BW I have stayed at. Lumpy pillows?? Wow, thats what I would expect from old budget motels from my past. They tried to make it nice with modern coffee makers, mini fridge and so on, but the bed, pillows, shower, hall carpet and exterior gave its age away. Their Bar and Grill ‘Ruffs’ was nice with great beer and great staff but they couldn’t do a burger right, too greasy of a bison burger, no veggies on top. The weight room and spa looked good but I didn’t check them out.

It was a quick stay for work. Rooms are a little small but worked just fine. Everything you need the room has. Syaff was great! Close yo restaurants and freeway.

Good stay for the price. Rooms are quite small and relatively outdated, but very clean. Pool was great for our kids and seemed well maintained. We stayed 2 nights and house keeping did not stop by our room; not a big deal but with 2 adults, 2 kids and an infant we could have used more towels and trash taken out. We would likely stay here again if in the area because of the pool and the hotel being pet friendly. There were events both nights of our stay but we hardly noticed and had no issues with noise.

I like that the pool is open late and the receptionist in tonight is amazing! I think her name is Kari but I can’t remember. But the lady who is working the desk today June 21st 2025 when I checked in at 7:45 pm ish should get a raise she has the best customer service.
