Review for Milam Inn Hotel I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with Adventure Mania and the hotel they arranged for us — Milam Inn in Almora — as part of our travel itinerary. This hotel was specifically recommended by Siddharth, who was part of the Adventure Mania team at the time. He may no longer be with them, but the responsibility of recommending safe, clean, and guest-ready accommodations lies entirely with the travel agency. Our experience at Milam Inn was extremely poor and unacceptable: Safety Concerns: The hotel did not feel safe at all, especially for female travelers. This should be a serious red flag for anyone considering it. Terrible Hygiene: The bed sheets had red rashes and black spots — absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable. No Basic Amenities: At check-in, we were not provided with water bottles, towels, or even clean toiletries — the bare minimum any traveler expects. Filthy Washrooms: The bathroom was in an appalling state, clearly not cleaned and completely unhygienic. Untrained and Unprofessional Staff: The hotel staff were poorly trained and lacked any sense of hospitality or accountability. This is not just about poor service — it is about guest safety and wellbeing, which were completely ignored. I strongly urge all travel partners and booking platforms to immediately delist Milam Inn and consider it unsafe for travelers. This experience not only caused distress but also raised serious concerns about the professionalism of the team at the hotel. I will not recommend this Hotel to anyone unless they drastically improve their vetting process and ensure only safe, clean, and reliable accommodations are part of their stay who spend thier hard earned money.

There's problem in lock system of hotel room as well. Also, no one's there during at last moment also for managing things. Room we're not that much net and clean as well. Although, property is not upto the mark as well.

Rooms are totally different from what is shown in the picture. No any view
very dirty bed / bed sheet/ and quilt no or low water in bathroom taps
no tv connection
front desk missing while checking out. Waiting for 30 min no chef. ( however thanks to one staff member who cooked some basic food) no area for kids. I can write 10 more things.

Worst experience! Even though I booked the hotel room in advance , on reaching the hotel the staff told me there was no room available and I have to pay more money and upgrade. And the staff and owner was extremely rude during the whole conversation. The issue got resolved when the travel platform support executive intervened and I was given an upgrade free of cost (thanks to the travel platform support). The "elite" room that was given was not that elite. The jet spray was broken, mug in the bathroom was broken. An electric kettle was there but it was dirty. Later on I found out by talking to my cab driver that this incidents are very common specifically in this hotel. Really surprised how this hotel got a good rating in trip advisor.

Dont recommend this hotel. The condition of the room is not clean. Bedsheets are torn and towel are dirty washroom tapss are broken and basic things that are listed to be provided are not given and the hotel staff is very rude and non coperativee lift is not working

Very pathetic and horrible experience was there to stay in hotel milan almora. They haven't offered the water to us, we have to ask for soap, towel and water. Bed sheets and blanket covers were dirty and with lipstick stains and were torn as well. Even after changing the same the condition for changed one was the same. The room was smelly and full of cockroaches. Room service was very pathetic, they took 1. 15 hours to give tea and bread toast. Hotel shikhar in almora is 10 yimes better than them in lesser price. Worst experience ever, please refund the money if possible.

Rooms was dirty all metres pilot covers got changed forcefully but then also the hygiene was not there. Staff behaviour was so so and service was quiet poor.

Uncleaned glasses, dirty bed sheets and tasteless food. Staff was also not trained. For one day this hotel cost must be less than 2000.

It's pathetic hotel, the reception guy directly entered the room without knocking and I told him that you should have manner ,ladies are here also the used parking area for local parties like sagai , birthday function etc and early morning asked us to provide car key so they can park our car outside the road which is not safe,pls everyone do go this hotel as no facilities.
