The staff here were exceptional. Brianna was incredibly kind at check-in, and Adrien did a wonderful job explaining how to take the shuttle from the airport back to the hotel. As a hotel GM myself, I know how challenging it can be to find the right team, and the Residence Inn at Gateway Park has truly built a great one. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I will definitely choose this property for all of my future trips when flying.

We booked a suite for our family of 3 after arriving late in Denver after an international flight. The hotel is very conveniently located, the beds are comfortable, and the service was responsive. Book a room with parking included.

The night clerk who checked us in was very unfriendly with an incredibly bad attitude. Her speech was very unclear and she didn't seem to care that we could not understand what she was saying. She was impatient when explaining the third party parking situation and couldn't care less whether we understood what to do to arrange payment. The facility had zero parking spaces available so we had to park in a neighboring hotel's lot. The facility was under remodel so the lobby area was in disarray. However, that should not have affected how disgustingly unclean the room was. The pullout sofa was soiled, there were food crumbs on all of the kitchen chairs and the drinking glasses had fingerprints, lip marks and food particles on them. This is the most disgusting Marriott hotel we have every stayed in. We are so disappointed. We are aware of the terrible labor pool in the Denver area as the state and city's policies have encouraged this decline. But Marriott should do something to prevent this from tarnishing their brand. Note: The morning desk clerk was very friendly and courteous.

酒店回复: Dear 914evac, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I want to begin by sincerely apologizing for the unacceptable issues you encountered during your recent stay. Your experience is not at all reflective of the standards we aim to uphold, and I am truly sorry we fell so short of your expectations. The concerns you raised regarding the attitude and clarity of communication from our night clerk are deeply troubling. Providing respectful, helpful service is fundamental to hospitality, and I assure you this matter will be addressed directly with the staff member involved. Your frustration regarding the third-party parking process is understandable, and we recognize the need for better guidance and clearer communication. I am especially disappointed to hear about the cleanliness issues in your room. A soiled pullout sofa, unclean kitchen seating, and dirty glassware are completely unacceptable, regardless of any ongoing renovation work. I have already shared your feedback with our housekeeping and maintenance teams for immediate correction and further training. We also take your concerns about the overall condition of the property and its impact on your experience seriously. While renovations can be disruptive, they should never compromise the cleanliness or comfort of our guest rooms. Your loyalty to the Marriott brand is appreciated, and I regret that this stay did not reflect the quality you expect and deserve. We are taking steps to address the problems you experienced and prevent them from recurring. If you are open to further discussion, I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly and see how we might make things right. Thank you again for your candid feedback. We hope you will consider giving us another chance to provide the kind of stay you rightfully expect. Sincerely,

The hotel needs to be remodeled. We were not happy with the condition of our first room and we were upgraded to a bigger room that was not much better. The flooring was coming apart, the ceiling and walls were dirty, broken or poorly repaired items in the rooms. This was the worst Residence Inn that we had ever stayed at. In addition, the hotel has stay and fly packages and most of the parking stalls are taken in the lot.

酒店回复: Dear cdw1982, Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with us. It is through guests' feedback that we continue to improve upon the service we provide. Maintaining a clean atmosphere within our guest rooms and common areas is important and I apologize that we did not fulfill that expectation during your visit. The hotel is scheduled for a full renovation early part of next year. My hope is the next time you are in the area, you will give us another chance to provide the guest experience we strive to deliver. Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I appreciate you choosing to stay with us.

We stayed here a year or two ago and the room/hotel was "tired", maybe a 2-3 star. It worked for what we needed at the time, an overnight airport stop. Fast forward to 2024 and my opinion of this hotel has completely changed. Our check-in was seamless, our welcome at the front desk and from the general manager made us feel truly welcomed. The room is perfect, loads of drawers for storage, charging ports, etc. I wish we were staying longer but we will enjoy our one night's stay. Cannot comment on breakfast yet as that will be tomorrow but hopefully I will be able to edit this posting and provide an update. The only negative, and I know it is a personal one, I tend to choose Residence Inns, Towneplace Suites, etc because, in the past, a real coffee maker was available in the rooms. With the updates, it appears that the rooms now provide a "spit on" coffee maker for instant coffee instead of brewed coffee. I do hope the extended stay hotels go back to regular coffee makers.

The layout of the 2 bedrooms were perfect but sadly I had to find another hotel because the carpet in this room was soiled and smelly. Not sure why it hadn’t been replaced before they let anyone reserve the room. I bought this to management’s attention and they were apologetic. Also the desk chairs were very worn as well as the kitchen appliances. Hopefully it’s replaced before the next person reserves it.

Friendly staff, especially Denise who prepares and runs am amazing breakfast. One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. They were very kind to our autistic son when he had questions. Conveniently located near Denver airport and lots of eating choices right across the street.

Check in was quick. However, didn’t get upgraded even being a Gold member. I don’t think the hotel looked full so this is another issue BonVoy/Marriott needs to address with the franchisees! Room: I thought the 1 bedroom suite was quite spacious and well equipped kitchenette. Had a good size sofa and table for two. Bed was comfortable and no complaint there. Bathroom was basic but does the job. Overall it was a short but good one. Will stay again.

We stayed here about a year ago and it was a wonderful stay, no complaints at all. Great room, great service, clean, no bad smells or obvious stains. This year though it was like staying in a completely different hotel. I am giving a rating of two because the staff were awesome and the bedding was comfortable (one point each for the positives) but the place smelled and not in a pleasant way. If I was basing my rating on just the staff, I would give RI a five but the problems were several. The cleaning product smell was overwhelming to the point that I had to leave breakfast when the worker started spraying the tables with some product that smelled toxic. The smell was everywhere, in the halls, in the guest rooms, in the lobby... The only way we tolerated the smell in our room was to open the windows. So happy that the windows opened even if it was only six inches. Carpets, soft goods - multiple stains, looked dirty. Bathroom door would not close properly. Telephone did not work. We reported the issues and I imagine they were dealt with but I really wish other guests would speak up when they notice things are not as they should be. It is not like the cleaning crew would be closing the bathroom door or using the in-room phone... We travel to Denver several times a year and would like to continue staying at the RI. I will watch the reviews and hope to see positive changes. Hopefully management will choose a different, less toxic smelling cleaning product, replace the carpets and other soft goods (furniture, etc) that have absorbed the cleaning product smells, and future reviews will mention how great the place looks and smells.

Stayed two nights here. The Staff was courteous. WiFi worked well. Room was clean, shower was hot, bed was somewhat lumpy, ample parking. Breakfast was fine, though I wish they'd not use single-use plastics (plastic knives, spoons, plates, bowls, etc). Easy access to the freeway. Numerous restaurants nearby. No complaints, really.
