This was perfect. My friend’s band was playing across the street and we were able to walk to dinner. Go see my friends band and then hit a bunch of clubs down the main street and then come back to the hotel. It was great.

Clean, safe, affordable, and in the perfect location to get around town. My only complaints are the hot tub jets weren't working, check-in desk was empty for a long time and I had to call, and vending machines didn't work with cards. I would stay here again.

The room was very noisy from the traffic on I-5 and nearby streets making it difficult to sleep. They need to invest in better sound proofing for the windows and balcony sliding glass door. Also, there was a distinct sewer smell coming from the bathroom for our entire stay so there are plumbing problems that also need to be addressed. Bed was ok, not great but ok.

A/C was a bit noisy but more like a white noise. Cam here a little bit of frwy noise. Love the location. Next to the main drag. Lots of restaurants around.

Upon check in, a $150 hold was required, this was not noted on the site. Not a huge deal but more than normal Hotels. The lobby is pretty and smelled great. They have fresh cookies out. The area you pull into has an outside lounge area which is nice to wait for friends or just relax. We didn’t go to the pool area. There are many restaurants and bars near by within a 1-2 min walk and the main downtown street is a couple blocks away. The front desk was not helpful, as their site said about Trolly information. It does not stop by the hotel and the gal just kept saying it’s at the pier. I was asking if it takes you from the hotel to the pier because it’s quite a walk and uphill on the way back. While walking around I found a trolly sign that was a couple blocks near by, they should be educated on this since their site says ask the front desk. Parking is first come first serve and low overhead. I got a space but it’s TIGHT. There is street parking but not a lot. We were in a room facing the freeway and there was two windows so when closed, we could not hear the noise at all. The room was good, carpet so that’s kinda yucky but it’s ok. Nice shower but no water pressure, at all. Overall it’s a great location, my friend and I felt safe, it was comfortable and we slept good. I would stay here again.

Initially our staff upon arrival were blah. No personalities at all. The staff member that was working on our last night was amazing!!! Our sink was clogged, tv didn’t work (but the staff member got that fixed).
