Trash bin in bedroom had trash in it when I arrived. Toilet seat wabbled from side to side. Heat in hotel has not been turned on in the rooms, as I learned when I checked out; my fan blew air but no heat. I was cold at night amd slept in warm clothing and socks.
I shared all this info. with the front desk mid-afternoon (after my first night), and I returned late that night and was informed then that Maintenance had already left
for the day BEFORE I initially spoke to the front desk mid- afternoon. Therefore, nothing had been done regarding my room.
I was offered another room for the 2nd night of my 2-night stay but when I saw that room, the tub was running water (weakly) and could not be shut off so I stayed in my initially assigned room. The room with the tub running water is on the first floor.
Hotel has a very worn and old appearance. I was told the hotel in in the process of transition (new ownership coming in and renovations forthcoming).
I was not happy with the conditions of the hotel and would not return unless I knew the conditions had improved dramatically.

The entire experience was atrocious. There was a complete lack of customer service, care, concern and ability or willingness to problem solve. Upon check in, we found the room was clearly not in acceptable condition. When entering, we found dirty water bottles and floss picks on the bedroom floor—an obvious indication that the room had not been properly cleaned. More concerning was the state of the room’s air conditioning. Although the thermostat was set to 60 degrees, virtually no cool air was coming out, and the hallway outside was noticeably cooler than the room itself. The space was sweltering and unlivable. We are traveling with someone who has an autoimmune condition where temperature is a known trigger, placing this individual at risk for serious health complications under these conditions. When we raised these concerns, we were told the hotel is sold out and that there was no option to move us to another room. We were advised to open the windows—an unacceptable “solution,” as there were no screens, and we are on the third floor with children. This poses a clear safety hazard and does nothing to address the lack of proper air circulation. We were told someone would be up immediately to attempt to fix the AC. That did not happen.
No attempts were made to testify this at all. Reaching out to Hilton they told us the site would take steps to rectify this. They did not. We checked out this morning and nothing was done to try to make anything right. Staff was unprofessional

We had offered that we would release the reservation, free of any penalty. You were also given a room change. During the days following that you chose to stay, we offered early check out each day as you sent your husband to the front desk. We did offer several solutions via corporate standards. We are sorry that this experience was not to your standards, but we did try to rectify the situation following protocol. We hope for the best for you in future stays at other locations.

The building is older and could use upgrades to the rooms, but all the amenities and staff were very good
