Our stay at Turismo Comunitario Las Esperanza was unforgettable thanks to the incredible location, the incredibly kind hosts, and the unique opportunity to share some time with members of an indigenous community. We stayed in the traditional choza which was large, clean and comfortable. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious and well prepared.
We regretted not having more time to explore the area both hiking and on horseback. We will be sure to return for those activities.
When we arrived in this remote location, we had a flat tire (!!!) and the community members went above and beyond to help us resolve the problem.

We will NEVER forget this amazing cultural experience. The hosts are the whole community who work together to serve their guests. We highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to experience some of the Kichwa culture.
