Check in was good, the room was clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious. The king bed and bedding was comfortable and overall I can give the room a 5 star rating within its classification.

The only downside for my wife and I was the breakfast. Relative to other Holiday inns we have stayed at. It was adequate, but nothing to get really exited about.

Housekeeping- did an excellent job, the rating for Staff&Service was reduced because the weekend hosts serving breakfast left MUCH to be desired (they kept the hood of their sweatshirt pulled up over their head, their appearance & demeanor was indifferent & unfriendly; the lack of ambition was summed up in the lack of food choices available; very poor!!) the hostess on Monday however- excellent. Additionally, UPGRADES? to the building, removed almost all the seating areas and lounging furniture to gather and visit or meet with friends (the picture for advertising are NOT reality); the dining room is not set up for families, only 1 bigger table with phone hook-ups down the middle, otherwise it was only tables with space for 2-4 people, and to try and pull table and chairs together?.... nearly impossible, because the style of furniture greatly discourages this (they are big, heavy and loud to move, etc); as well, all carpet floor covering in the dining room (& elsewhere) was removed and therefore it was VERY NOISY, (if you wear hearing aids yikes), the tile may look sheik but not great if you want to talk to the people across the table from you; the coffee is from giant Keurig machines, so no adjusting serving size & the only microwaves are those in your room (sorry, have to run back to heat your muffin) they really DON'T want you to hang out... so if you're looking for just a place to sleep and not an extended stay, and you're not a breakfast person, this will work for you.
