During our overnight stay on November 8-9, 2025, the fire alarm went off at 6:30 AM and startled by 71 year old boyfriend and I awake. We were on the 4th floor and did not see anyone exiting hotel. Dressed quickly, called front desk and no answer. Boyfriend went downstairs and finally found an employee 15 minutes later who said "false alarm". Manager was supposed to be present by 7AM and was not until 8:30AM. We contacted her - no apology and she said a guest "burned toast" and it set off alarm. Due to my boyfriend's age, etc., this could have been a serious episode and was not handled correctly at all. Manager lied and said since we booked thru *******, she could not issue a refund. However, I contacted *******, who said it was up to the hotel to give permission to issue a refund! This was in the midst of a 3 day drive to Colorado and an awful way to wake up. Hotel management was rude and did not offer any apology or anything to make up for this incident. We still want a refund and will not be going back there again.

Room climate was good. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Not crazy about the pre-made omelets, but the hard boiled eggs were satisfactory. Would like to have seen raisin bran.

The staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I love that the air conditioning was nice and cool when entering the room. I stayed because I needed to be close to KU hospital for surgery the next day and I had a very peaceful and comfortable nights rest. Plenty of towels in my room, lots of amenities if you need them, and again I have to say the staff are some of the friendliest people I've met working at a motel. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. Absolute 5 stars in my opinion.

Where to start. Check in was fine. But then at midnight, a strange beeping noise started in my room. I told the front desk when I woke up and was headed out. I was told that I should have notified them immediately because it was a battery change for the fire alarm but as a solo female traveler I didn’t feel comfortable having a stronge man in my room at midnight. Got back after work and it wasn’t the fire alarm battery but something else and I had to switch rooms. Which they deactivated my old room key so when I tried to Gether my belongings, I couldn’t get into the room. Then had to wait again at the front desk to get it activated. There was feces on the light switch in the bathroom as well. Never got an apology or anything from staff. Pretty much a just-that sucks for you. Will NEVER stay at this location again.

Very helpful desk staff. Had bandaids, a phonr charger and he even got us plates and silverware for our take out!! Very helpful!!!

Good, but....
Everything was quite acceptable with the exception of the TV-over 75% of the channels either didn't come in or had weak signal. Not very acceptable nor pleasing when all that's wanted after a very long drive and long days is to just watch TV & do nothing! ☹️
