Rooms were clean warm and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, in particular Vannessa, who help me resolve a issue quickly and professionally.

Very inexpensive, our second visit here, very clean and comfortable well equipped quality bedding, plenty of power sockets and USB points. Staff were pleasant, bar drinks were not expensive.

Stayed here overnight and we stayed on ground floor. Room stank of wet dog so was clearly a dog friendly room, shower didnt work properly and TV kept turning the volume up every minute. Such a shame as we've previously stayed here when it was an ibis and couldn't it fault it then. I think dog friendly rooms shouldn't be used for visitors who dont bring dogs.

**Was booked by management by mistake** However. Booking in was actually pleasurable., seamless. Girl checking in was Oliwia (polish spelling) Polite. Friendly and seemed passionate. (On a very wet Wednesday evening). Broad smile very friendly face. Fired some questions and she answered politely and was very articulate in response. Very hard to rate a Travelodge, because in essence...it's a Travelodge. But praise and kudos To those who work there and Excel. (There's not many with pride in there itinerary) Food is ok. Beds are ok. Rooms are ok. Beer is pretty good. It's a Travelodge. Staff can and will set it apart and she did.

We decided to try the Travel Lodge Wellingborough, rather than where we’d previously stayed, as the price was significantly lower. I had read some negative reviews but our experience was all positive. The reception staff were welcoming on our arrival and there was plenty of free parking. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the room was lovely and warm when we arrived and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. We didn’t try the food but the reception, restaurant area and room seemed to have been recently updated. We didn’t experience any loud noise either from guests or the road, although friends who stayed 1 of the nights on another floor did get woken up by guests (but you could get that in any hotel). It was a 5 minute drive to local shops, a petrol station and places to eat. A bigger TV would be great but you can’t complain for the price. We will be back again.

Vanessa, Lucian, Danika, Vicky and Zain have been terrific recently front of desk. So too have Sandra, Julija, Marzana and Lucia in the housekeeping team.
