The property is very clean and the lobby area is inviting. It's in a convenient location. The rooms appear to be updated and new. My only "negative" observation is that I would love it if they'd update the bathrooms.

Make a wrong turn and you're patted down by the NSA. Very ominous situation. This facility is surrounded by companies holding defense contracts. Not a family-friendly or otherwise professional site to hold a course. Also, staff didn't show up to clean and set up our conference room the night before. The day staff had to scramble to get it ready. Those folks did an amazing job. The room was great for the course, but there was no real lunch options for participants who flew with and had no car. The bed was very comfortable and sleeping was good.

Clean and very nice, although not around much, it was close enough to get to our destination in a timely manner being right on the main thoroughfare. Will be staying here again for sure.

Hotel located near highway so very easy to navigate to anywhere in the area. not much else in the immediate vicinity (walkable)

Old hotel. Breakfast ok, service pending between great and bad. Big rooms, nice beds.

Bed is too firm and is not comfy!
The bed made my back hurt SO BAD that it’s still hurting 9 hours after the fact! I have a firm bed as well but this one woke me up all night. Only if you knew how much I needed that time to myself and it defeated the purpose of a solo getaway because my rest was horrible! Everything else was good though..

Lack of priorities
My stay good and the location was convenient. I had a negative encounter with a male staff member that verbally accosted me for taking a tea bag that was behind a counter at the coffee station. He was busy chatting up a young female staff member at the time, but when he saw me get the tea bag (which should have been accessible to guests), he went into ballistic mode and starting yelling from the front desk area as if I were trying to steal something. Clearly, Marriott needs to do some sensitivity/customer service training at this location. Maybe he should have been more concerned with how the coffee bar was set up then chatting up the young female employee.
