The staff were very nice and the hotel was fine for cleanliness.
It is dilapidated, and all the furniture was threadbare, scraped, stained, chipped, etc. This must’ve been a Budget Inn location before it was a Hampton Inn. It is certainly the most outdated Hampton Inn I’ve ever been to.

This used to be my go-to place when I was coming home for a short stay. But after my last day I'm doubting this. The hotel is conveniently located. There are a lot of places to eat nearby. Quick access to the highways as well. But this time my room was very humid. And the carpet was wet. I stretch every morning when I get up and it was kind of gross to lay on that damp carpet to do my stretches. Additionally my medications which I take with me got flaky and wet from the humidity in the room which was totally unacceptable. I like the location. I like your free breakfast. But I don't know what is going on with the upkeep on the rooms. Also I walked around in the room barefoot and every time I got in the shower there were dark footprints from the dirt on my feet. So I suspect that the carpet is not very clean as well. They really need to address some of these things.

Think before you book
The bathtub was filthy. The bathroom was small. The air conditioning unit was falling apart. I have attached pictures. The bed was uncomfortable. and you can see the hallway light around the cracks of the door very noisy hallway

Parking wasn’t good. Also the beds were not comfortable at all and the toilet looks like a baby toilet way down on the floor. It was very low.

The staff were fabulous in their attitudes and level of respectful treatment. Hospitality was great!
There were other issues. We checked in early but were given room cards so I assumed the room was ready. We did leave before going to the room and was back at the posted check-in time. However, they were still cleaning the room and it wasn't ready. By the time they figured all that out and tried to put us in another room, the room was ready. Then many of the drawers and doors on the room furniture were stuck or wouldn't close. The toilet had a hard time flushing properly. It suited us since we were only there one night, but it was a bit frustrating. The staff made up for the room issues though. They were great.

OK for the one night layover.
We were stuck in MD with a weather delay preventing us from traveling on from BWI. This was a last minute choice and our visit was one of just six hours. Front desk person was not typical from my previous Hampton experiences, just going through the motions. Hotel itself appeared to be older and while clean was showing some wear.

Mostly Comfortable
Our experience here was good in that the customer service and friendly staff made up for some of the flaws that we noticed! From the receptionist to the house keepers, everyone was polite and friendly. The biggest problem was a large cobweb in one corner of the ceiling. The soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower was a great touch but the conditioner was empty.

没水=没淋浴……不过早餐很棒
主要缺点——就在我早上9点准备刮胡子洗澡的时候(前一天漫长的旅行之后),水却很凉,而且只有涓涓细流。真是让人抓狂。根本没法洗澡。就在我10:30准备离开房间的时候,水又恢复正常了。退房的时候,我注意到前台有一封信,解释了停水的原因。如果有人从门缝下塞了一封信,或者前一天晚上入住时就收到通知,我早上8点就会去洗澡,以免水受到影响。这件事真的给我留下了不好的印象,毕竟我本来住得很愉快。我打算预订房间,10月6日星期一再来,希望以后不会再遇到同样的问题。
次要缺点——早餐室的地板黏得难以置信。虽然这可能存在安全隐患,但我认为应该有人花5分钟拖地。我感觉一路上都带着黏糊糊的东西回到房间。好的一面是,你们的早餐选择令人印象深刻。我现在住在宾夕法尼亚州埃克斯顿的一家汉普顿酒店,你们的早餐要好得多。即使只剩几分钟,炒鸡蛋也已经补充了……真是令人印象深刻。5*
