Rooms are out dated .Someone from hotel was supposed to call me ,but never did … Going forward DRURY HOTEL WILL GET ALL MY BUSINESS IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD..

My room wasn’t completely clean, I had dirty glasses, when I asked for new ones they gave me another set of dirty glasses. I asked for housekeeping to come clean my room and they never did. My sheets had stains. My toilet didn’t work and when I asked for someone to come fix it they didn’t. You guys have 3 elevators and only one worked

From the entrance and throughout the facility the cleanliness of the facility shows a worn out place lacking in just daily cleaning. The room furnishings are leftover from the 1980’s but the real issue is plain old dirt and funk. Carpet everywhere is stained but especially in the room we had. Tub drain ran slow and left a ring of soap scum on tub. Foul smell came from drain. Mattresses were terrible uncomfortable. Staff were great—especially the Airport Shuttle folks. This place needs to be gutted and brought into this century. I was very surprised to see such a big named hotel chain with such a property.

Room was a good size but extremely dated. Hotel had a total of two elevators servicing the entire building and they were always crowded. Ended up just taking our luggage down the stairs because we could never get the luggage cart on the elevator. They couldn’t sign us in because we played through ******* with Apple Pay and they made me call ******* to get it sorted out. Mind you I’ve paid for my room and just drove ten hours to get there. The last thing I wanted to do was deal with finding a number to call and dealing with customer service. They gave us a voucher for a free pizza. I could see why they give the pizza away- it was gross. Took forever to get yet it was raw dough in the middle somehow still. We had booked the same hotel for the drive back but we’ll be staying somewhere even if we can’t get the refund. It was that unsatisfactory. Staff were nice and the breakfast was ok.

Staff was friendly, but very overwhelmed. At checkin, they couldnt figure out the computer system and let us up to our room without going over the final price and eventually charged my card on file. Because of this I was not told the incidental fees so was initially confused why I was charged an additional $100. Its not listed on my receipt either. Hotel seemed to be at capacity and was not adequately staffed to handle it. We checked in at 2 AM and there wasn't a single luggage cart available, even though we were the only people in the entire lobby. I was informed that they had 6 for the entire hotel which doesn't seem adequate for the size and capacity at which they were operating. All but 1 elevator was out of service, and we had to make multiple trips carrying heavy bags because of the luggage cart situation. We are able bodied, so it was inconvenient-but not the end of the world; but was very unfortunate for guests with mobility issues. I understand a-lot of things are out off staff control but it seems we weren't the only guests who had a rough experience this week end.

Disappointing weekend stay
I understand a long line and complications but the way the front desk staff handled it with no urgency or consideration was baffling. Our room had severely stained sheets (3 brown spots). Throughout communication was awful. I felt like I was at a cheap hotel disguised as a nice one. Overall it's severely overpriced because of these issues and others.

One major dislike was that we had to pay for parking and another was the lack of chairs in the pool area. That being said the pool was warm and enjoyable! One thing I really liked was the environment, it was fancy but not too fancy that I felt like me and my family with young children were out of place. The staff and other guests were all so kind. The elevator was a huge hit with our youngins!
We don't visit KC often, but if we do we will definitely be staying here again!!

After booking a room and prepaying for it they cancelled my reservation bc we didn’t arrive the night we were supposed as our baseball tournament was backed up a day. Then only a small fraction was refunded. Guy behind the counter was the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Total unprofessional
