Any hotel housekeeper who checks/"cleans" a room and finds no hand soap in the bathroom -- AND DOES NOT REFILL/REPLACE -- should be FIRED immediately. I go to wash my hands ... NO SOAP TO BE FOUND. Details matter. A. Lot. Skip this place. Hilton? Drop this place.

I checked it on Tuesday and checked out Thursday. My initial reaction to the whole shape of the building was “ This is odd, but OK”. I called to see if I was able to get in a little early and they were able to work with me and accommodate. The woman working the desk, Nicki, On Tuesday morning was so kind and sweet. When we walked in, she was being yelled at by a guest for hot water issues and handled it really well! We had hot water so not sure what that was about. We were in town for a funeral and found out she just lost a family member as well. -We are so sorry for your loss! The breakfast at this place was OK. They could use better quality hashbrowns. Pan fried hashbrowns would be better than the McDonald’s hash brown I got. Dinner options were slim Pickins at 5:30pm. We tried to order buffalo dip, but we informed that they didn’t have the ingredients and that the bartender didn’t know how to cook-He told us the Cook was on his way. We were talking with some other guests and they said they had a similar experience. You guys should really have a cook at all times when the kitchen is open. The next night, we saw Nicki EVERYWHERE! We saw her with a housekeeping cart going to clean a room, She poured us beers at the bar while the bartenders were gone for about a total of 10 minutes. She’s a hard worker! We came to the desk and asked for dinner recommendations and were greeted by another friendly face, think her name was Helen! Super sweet lady. They only had one elevator working, and we were told that the elevator company had been called, but never saw anybody come work on the elevator. The rooms were very nice and clean. We also felt extra safe With the security guard there when we went out for a late night bite. He walked us to our car. Thank you sir. The only thing that would bring me back to this property is Nicki and the rooms and convenient location. The restaurant could use some work on the food quality. -Chris and Laney

Beautifully crafted property, great water pressure. Exquisitely designed and decorated. Comfortable room, and the bed was also comfortable. Clean rooms and hall. Breakfast was great. Staff was professional and courteous. Check-in was seamless. Lots of nightlife and restaurants, lots to see and do and if you like walking, take a walk. Quiet neighborhood. I am becoming very fond of The Tapestry collection. Their properties are very interesting. This property represents the Westport route. There's always a great story. I will have to visit them all.

Booked the room well in advance, only to check in to a dirty room with the prior guests leftover food in the fridge (obviously wasn’t cleaned) and dirty towels in the bathroom. Was told no other king rooms available which we need and no one on site to clean it. Manager had the audacity to ask what loyalty tier level I am, because clearly she only cares to go above and beyond if I’m Gold or Diamond level? Don’t stay here, this is the worst Hilton brand I’ve stayed at, and the parking lot is not safe. The dive bar next door uses the same parking lot and we literally saw a couple getting into the back seat of their car while we were there for who knows what.

The hotel design was very nice its old holiday inn with good refurbish. This disappointing part was I am a diamond member .. an owners diamond in fact. They did not go out of their way. Or even follow the diamond benefits as they should the staff was rude about hotel policies. Not sure if it’s staff or ownership if you are diamond looking for good treatment I would stay away.

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location close to the Plaza and a 2 min walk to the Westport entertainment district! Clean rooms, reasonably priced and a great staff! Nice breakfast and wonderful service each morning! Then in the evening they have a nice little bar and a great bartender. Francisco and Raj treated us like family! We will stay here anytime we get the chance!

My husband & sons stayed here when they came to KC for the Chiefs game. We booked this hotel with the understanding that breakfast was included. They were given menus with no prices & then a bill for $100 for the 4 of them. Also-We booked 2 rooms that were supposed to be together but were very far apart. Also-the added fees were ridiculous. All that for rooms that were just okay.

My wife and I came from Iowa for our anniversary and it was AMAZING! Francisco at the bar was great conversation. Nikki at the desk was amazing! She is the definition of great customer service! Our favorite part was the room! The bed is so comfy, it was like sleeping on a cloud. My wife loved the finishes in the bathroom... so much that we're copying the color scheme in our house remodel! We will be back again!

Checked in Sep. 30th stay is for 2 nights Lighting in room was minimal. Had no Hot water and said nothing could be done until tomorrow. This is totally unacceptable. Very disappointing customer service is awful. Only to lanterns working no bright lighting other then the natural light from windows

At least four cars broken into in parking lot. Staff/management did nothing to help. Only concern was keeping it “quiet” so other guests wouldn’t “find our”. Did not offer to help clean up or help make car with busted windows drivable for 6 hour car ride to get home. STAY AWAY!!
