We spent the night here, the proximity to a large lacrosse tournament was terrific. Staff was very accommodating with our late check in. The rooms can do with an update but there was plenty of space and parking for our needs

the mattresses were bad , but they were changing them out as we were there. the room was nice. the only issues I had was the low water pressure and the bathroom fan didn"t seem to be working. We will be back though.

Room was clean, quick check-in. Thin walls. We were next to the stairs, the door slammed every 5 minutes in the morning, it was so loud I couldn’t go back to sleep. Through the night there were kids playing in the halls but staff quickly handled that and apologized for the inconvenience. Pool was closed upon arrival for renovation which we didn’t know before hand. Overall, clean and comfortable stay, just loud slamming doors to the stairs.

It obviously has some age on it, but they are making renovations. Any work that I noticed appeared to be well done, which is often not the case these days. But the big difference for me is the staff - they are super warm, super accommodating and actually seem to understand what the hospitality industry is supposed to be (and used to be) like. I observed multiple interactions between themselves and with guests and it is obvious that they are not just collecting a paycheck or going through the motions.

The fitness center has old equipment that either doesn't work or is shabby with rust. It also smells in there. I let the front desk know and to let the manager know.

There was mold growing on the ceiling above one of the beds. The beds were uncomfortable. The halls smelt. The surrounding area was unkept.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The neighboring property made for unpleasant view. The fence was falling down and a lot of junk in yard. A new fence to hide this area might be helpful.
It would have been helpful to know pool was closed for repairs before we booked.
