It obviously has some age on it, but they are making renovations. Any work that I noticed appeared to be well done, which is often not the case these days. But the big difference for me is the staff - they are super warm, super accommodating and actually seem to understand what the hospitality industry is supposed to be (and used to be) like. I observed multiple interactions between themselves and with guests and it is obvious that they are not just collecting a paycheck or going through the motions.

The fitness center has old equipment that either doesn't work or is shabby with rust. It also smells in there. I let the front desk know and to let the manager know.

There was mold growing on the ceiling above one of the beds. The beds were uncomfortable. The halls smelt. The surrounding area was unkept.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The neighboring property made for unpleasant view. The fence was falling down and a lot of junk in yard. A new fence to hide this area might be helpful.
It would have been helpful to know pool was closed for repairs before we booked.

The building is old (a bit of wear on the walls and furniture) but the rooms are spotless, the beds are all new, and all of the amenities work (especially the AC which you have full control over). The staff are wonderful and were able to help me with every question I brought them.
The area it is in is very safe as its fairly secluded. It is well located so you can drive to most everything you need within 15 minutes. If you forget anything or get hungry they have a mini store filled with snacks and treats.
If I'm ever in the area I would stay here again!

We have stayed many times at this best western and it was a good experience but this time we got a very outdated run down room
The ceiling was stained and mold was obvious the shower ceiling showed serious water damage
