The floor in room was dirty from a/c unit being cleaned. Request room to be cleaned. They never did clean.
Breakfast was soso. The hot food was actually cold.
Did not feel comfortable where hotel was located.

This was the worst situation I have ever encountered. I was unable to make the check in date. I sent 2 messages to the hotel. I showed up early the next day and was told that my reservation was cancelled since I did not show up. I explained to them that I messaged them the morning of the reservation as well as the afternoon. I informed them that I was not able to make it to st Louis in time. Instead I would arrive Monday. I then wrote I was adding an additional night. ( Which I paid for upfront)
When I got to the hotel ( on Monday) I was told all my money had been forfeited because I was a no show. I reminded them that I had messaged them a couple of times. There response to me was " We don't have anyone that monitors the emails/messages... People have time off ,you know!". "Okay then," I said " take a look now and you will see that I messaged... Please check me in to my room that I paid for through *******".
The Lady at the front desk told me it was too late.
I contacted *******, they did not help at all!. I was very surprised. I lost all the money I paid for the 3 nights. I had to then go down the road and rent another hotel room.
I don't think I will use ******* anymore. I have lost my trust.

Water issues on 2nd floor, dirty floors everywhere
First room they had us in was still clearly being treated for some water issues, in fact the whole 2nd floor smelled moldy. They moved us to a different floor, and the second room at least wasn't moldy, but the floors were gross and the toilet didn't flush properly.

I didn't appreciate charging me for 1 day stay $150 incidental after I asked 3x was it only $50. The man said with his buck azz teeth just 1 $50 for one night. He charged me $150. I'm still waiting on the reversal

Most hotel have policy of incidental authorization. Our hotel incidental is posted at the front desk. It is $150 no $50. This authorization is released automatically after you check out. Any authorization to card normally takes 5 to 7 working days, October 11th was Saturday. It will depend on your bank when they open on Monday. On our end it was released the day you checked out. If you wish to talk to hotel manager and better understand the policy please call our hotel direct between 11:30am and 2pm Monday thru Friday.

Clean and comfy
On-site parking was easy. Front desk staff was prompt, friendly and helpful. Room was clean with modern decor, laminate flooring, comfortable bedding, updated bathroom fixtures.
