Always have had great experiences @ Hampton’s yet teenage party w/ dozen of kids everywhere from the lobby to the pool & especially on the 4th floor where are room was located. French fries in the pool , games in the elevators, races up & down the hallways (4th floor esp.) late into the evening
I’ve always enjoyed my stays ( my work requires me to travel extensively)
Yet this experience was unquestionably below standards
My family and I were very disappointed

I was very concerned that the mattress did not have a bed bug cover and there were hairs on the mattress. Room needed some serious TLC. Broken tiles in the bathroom, rust and dust on the bathroom air vent, which did not work. I had to turn the heater unit off during the night because it was knocking and making crazy noises which kept me awake. The pillows and mattress were hard and uncomfortable . The pool was not heated. I’m glad I only had to stay one night and definitely not worth the money.

The room was spotless and the staff was very friendly.
Suggestion: Replace the sofa in the breakfast area. The gathering place really needs to be updated first. Everything else was great, even for an older model hotel.

Most of breakfast was fine. I would have like better options for that. The sausage was yucky and the bacon was chewy. Room was very nice and clean. Bathroom also nice except tub was very high to step into and bottoms of the 2 different rooms I used didnt look clean.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and quiet room. Very nice neighborhood to walk (for exercise) across the street. Only negative was the change in eggs in the morning. Early morning got fluffy scrambled eggs and then later replaced by bland fried eggs the day we were there.
