Hotel refused to refund us. We had to cancel our reservation due to our mother’s death. They said to us “too bad”. The third party tried to get them to refund our money but informed that the hotel refused. They have no courtesy for the death of anyone. I strongly don’t recommend this hotel.

I rarely give bad reviews, place was dirty, no fitted sheets, queen sheet on a king bed. I was worried about safety. Looked like kit is being used as a temporary housing for homeless, which is fine except for a holiday trip for a Route 66 vacation.

Worst hotel ever. Had to change rooms 3 times due to broken and dirty rooms. Final room had broken detector, moldy bathroom ceiling, damaged wood, broken lampshades and electrical outlets that didn’t work. Horrible smell middle of night.

There was nobody at the desk and note said to call a certain number. After a couple minutes the gal and a guy came out. Where we parked, the sidewalk had lots of cigarette butts and mud on it. As soon as we walked in down the hall, we both commented on the bad smell. The room didn’t look real bad but the carpet wasn’t real clean along the edges. The toilet didn’t flush well and got clogged too. We didn’t have any plastic glasses and had to call the office with our own cell phone. The room phone was found in the closet with no wires in it. The kid said he would look for some and came with 4. There was no kleenex in the container. The lid for the ice bucket was missing and we found it behind the cabinet. We found what might have been a bed bug trap beside the bed. We were getting grossed out but decided to stay as we were tired from driving all day. Slept ok that night. The shower ceiling had holes in the drywall from water leaks. When I stepped out of the shower, a roach or earwig ran across the tile floor. The towels were rough from just being old and washed many times and not very large. There was no safety lock on the inside of the door, it had been ripped off. No breakfast they said because of covid. The breakfast area was dirty and old towels and equipment on the counters. Looked like they hadn’t served breakfast in a couple years, place was just dirty looking. This motel must have been a decent place at one time but is poorly managed now and needs many repairs and could be a lot cleaner. The owner needs to get things in order or this place will die. Find another hotel, this one was bad.

CANCELED stay when we saw the condition and the people that are living there PERMANENTLY! RUDE renters this motel has! Renters seem to be under the influence of something and the OWNER would NOT do anything about their behavior!! NOT a safe place to stay at!
