Staff of hotel and restaurant first-rate!

ˇhe staff was very friendly, the salmon dinner at the lobby restaurant was delicious, and the chef himself stopped by our table for a friendly chat, as did the bartender (who made us an amazing drink). So nice to have such a cheerful reception; we were on our way the next day to Bethesda North Hospital for my husband's surgery--which BTW turned out fine. Thank you for a good stay!

Very poor customer service. Reported non-working refrigerator three times. Promised repair or replacement but never happened. In-room coffee service not replenished. TV worked but not with any channels you might want. Must be set up with cheap streaming service with limited program access. Any complaint received with promises of service that never happened.

The staff here is very accommodating. The bar is small but good; we were confused by the breakfast menu and pricing. Two different options and prices for the same menu items you would receive complimentary at other hotels at this price point. The furniture, pillows and especially the bathrooms are in need of a serious update. It all seemed as tired as I was after our busy weekend! Our bathroom had some mold issues. The lobby had some filthy chairs. There are some restaurants within walking distance. They serve “dinner” in the lobby, but only one option all weekend. The snack area was well stocked and had good variety. Has some nice seating outside, but no umbrellas like seen in the hotel photos.

Check in was fine. I had a dinner to go to last night so I didn’t spend a lot of time until I return back from dinner. I went to use the bathroom and I was shocked about the conditions of the shower!!!! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It look like construction was going on with the yellow caution tape. I figure I would just take a bath. I turned on the hot water and nothing. Lukewarm at best. I called down to the front desk and the rep asked me questions then he said he would have maintenance take a look at it. I waited. No response. I tried the water again it was still cool to lukewarm. I couldn’t take a shower or a bath and now I will have to take a shower a Planet Fitness before I get back on the road. No one at the front desk ever called me back to say anything. I was too frustrated to say anything this morning once I checked out because I would have not been too nice. I have stayed at this location before and didn’t have any issues. But I won’t stay again.
