Staff Taylor was amazing. Room -clean except for black mold in bathroom and thermostat was not working properly.

This hotel has literally nothing but potential. Great layout. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, the door to my room was broken and almost was trapped inside at one point. The glasses in the bathroom were covered in hair and dirt. I wanted to make a cup of coffee in the morning and the coffe pot was filled with moldy coffee. I let the staff know about it and later when I returned to the rooom nothing was cleaned. I was disappointed because I liked the room. At least they offered me points on Bonvoy to make it up. So effectively they did nothing.

It seems there may have been some miscommunication with my staff as when I asked them regarding how this issue happened they were under the impression it was already cleaned up and you did not want anyone to come back and fix it. I have put measures into place to ensure this will not happen again. We have some of the best cleanliness scores within the brand and it appears there was some missed items in the room which we need to concentrate with more detail on. We often stay here in our way through Ohio. Lovely staff, rooms are clean but some bathrooms could use a little TLC. Great breakfast. Overall a fine choice for a stay in the Dayton area.
