Really don't know where to start. This is a very uninviting, shabby hotel with below average food and very below average staff. Definitely NOT good value for what you get. The staff were unfriendly to the point of being rude and one member of staff walked around the bar area with his phone in his pocket playing something unintelligible full blast! Will definitely not ever stay here again!

As a result I have spoken to the team and addressed the phone issue. He advised he received a distressed family call in his native language and he sends his profuse apologies, he now appreciates he didn't handle the situation well. I would like to assure you this was a one off and can be seen from other reviews before and since, we pride ourselves on friendly and helpful service. We loved staying at this traditional English hotel. The staff was very welcoming, the room and bathroom very spacious. One of the best English breakfast we’ve ever tasted! Always hot and fresh ! Will definitely come back and would recommend the stay for couples, families as well as business !

We booked our stay here because the Citrus Hotel is located very close to the Sports Connexion Leisure Club. Our room was No.1, which is an accessible room. This is an exceptionally large room with a very large bed and large bathroom. The room was lovely, quiet and clean, the bed was very comfortable. Lovely hotel really, with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely and food in the restaurant was good, they also had a good bar. This Hotel would be great for hosting events, as there is conference facilities/hall, plenty of parking & rooms for guests.

Took 33 people with Grand UK as a Tour Manager. We were there Monday. To Friday as our base. Rooms clean and comfortable. Food excellent. Staff Chrissy Simon and the team looked after us well. Just needs outside seating. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Has a small Gym. But could do with a swimming pool

Excellent stay. Great check in, super menu in bar in evening, my salmon was delicious. Good sleep in a warm and comfy bed. Great shower. Lovely and clean and a great choice for breakfast all well cooked. A lot of harsh reviews for this place but for what I paid and what I’ve seen elsewhere I’d come back here time and again. Thanks for a great overnight.

员工热情友好。房间干净安静。可惜的是，有些地方需要改进。房间和家具都有些过时，需要翻新。卧室很大很舒服，但其实是两张单人床拼在一起的，中间有一条缝。被子对于这么大的床来说也太小了。淋浴的开关坏了。浴缸侧面的面板底部有缺口。浴室瓷砖上的螺丝孔清晰可见。窗帘杆也严重破损。不过，我们还是挺享受这次住宿的，毕竟只是找个地方睡觉而已。我们会再次入住。尽管存在一些问题，但总体来说还是很愉快的，而且价格也合理。
这家酒店陈旧、嘈杂、不干净，而且非常不舒服。房间装修过时，仿佛回到了上世纪80年代。走廊和房间里弥漫着一股奇怪的脏味。床很旧，需要更换，枕头更糟糕，床边没有插座，没有吸顶灯，所有的台灯灯泡都很暗淡。暖气也令人怀疑，不知道为什么，暖气旋钮被胶带封住了。浴室显然没有彻底清洁过，使用前必须自己打扫。入住后，酒店根本不会提供任何客房服务。如果需要额外的茶包、咖啡或其他任何东西，都必须去前台索取。毛巾不更换，垃圾桶在你入住期间也不会清理。电视遥控器也经常失灵。由于噪音太大，房间的窗户不能打开，否则你还不如直接睡在外面繁忙的马路中间。房间里没有空调。早餐很简单，只有廉价的培根和更廉价的香肠。酒吧区域也需要彻底清洁，所有布艺椅子都污渍斑斑。员工非常有限，而且就算有，也未必能找到。不推荐这家酒店。
