Rooms were dated but clean overall. Family friendly. Ice maker outside room but hotel doesn’t provide buckets. Told us to use ice maker in room freezer but sign said it takes 72 hrs to produce ice and our stay was only 2 nights.

Hotel rooms need a lot of fixin’
The hotel staff was amazing: friendly, helpful and good at their job. The hotel room itself, however, was rundown and tired looking. The coverlet on the bed was frayed; the bathroom cabinet was chipped and sorry looking; one dresser drawer would shut all the way and the carpet had a nasty looking mystery stain in front of the closet. Not what I expected from a Residence Inn.

I have stayed in several hotels in this area of Rockford and this hotel has the best pool.
BUT, the mattress was horrible! I had nerve pain every day.
I'd like to suggest [other than new mattresses] is 1) the lighting is very dim. Needs a couple of brighter lights. And
2) Needs a full length mirror.
plus side, they have GREAT cookies every day! :)

Huge double bedroom suite, 2 bathrooms with seating area and well equipped kitchen.
Very clean & comfortable beds.
Friendly and cheerful staff throughout.
Very reasonable rates considering the facilities.
