They said a $50 deposit but they charged me $100. I contacted them many times and they refused to give me my deposit back. They said I smoked in the room and I don't even smoke. Do not go there. Besides being gross they will steal your money.

First room wasn’t cleaned looked like some came in and sat on the bed then left. Stains on the sheets and blankets. Heat/A/C didn’t work. Blankets are super thin also.

We were shifted three times to different room due air conditioning and the room we got has no bulbs and toilet door was broken and the lady on counter she was yelling at me for no reason taking her bad day on me and my friend when we told her the problem no one has right to yell it’s pathetic service and people they charged me too $50 more for checkout, I paid what ever she asked but no one has right to yell it was too loud like I was her servant

Rooms are disgusting. Hotel very outdated. Indoor pool was freezing and run down . Was definitely cheapest listed with pool they didn't lie lol.

We had to get moved twice! The first room was filthy, the toilet was broken and clogged up with urine in it. The second room had no heat and it was 32 degrees outside. The pool was freezing. The only good thing was the front desk agent who went above and beyond to make sure we got into a room we could sleep in.

Waited with 3 other guests at check in on a Monday at 3:45-4:30 the entire lobby was unattended, the two other guests and myself called several times no answer, no sign on the desk be back, no nothing, pool/gym the two biggest amenities CLOSED ON NOV 8th, rooms are ok definitely not what you would expect from a Baymont. On Saturday I was forced to check-out or they would call the police all because the CC on the room was my brothers as he paid for the week to keep out of my car, only to be forced out he called and talked to a different person who fixed the stay and had to get all my stuff and check into a whole different room. None of lamps work, double bed room there was a towel, hand , and face cloth. Hair dryer broken, desk chair leaning and dangerous.
This location in Merrillville is ran like carp, asked to speak to the GM on day two about the lobby being totally infrared for over a half an hour. Never came and talked to me. The lady at the front desk Indiana chick just acted like leave a cash I’ll and computers and everything unsecured for that time frame at that time of the day is unacceptable.
When o asked about the pool I wactokd it’s closed for shocking joe it an a best western 20 years ago I don’t know any closing that takes a week to work. The pol was finally open my lady day here but you have to hi to the desk they let you in and it’s 3pm-9pm so silly I was told they had issues in the past? Ok…….? and yet the pool is visible from the front desk!!!

Sooo baaddd the lights were not working and also the washroom seat tank was not working. When we ask to clear it they said do it by yourself. If there were any star bellow one i should have to do that

ITS LOOKS LIKE A CRACK MOTEL.
I booked a room for 5 days . I checked in and went to the room and OMG! I immediately called and told them I was NOT staying here. They refused to give me a refund or my so called damage deposit of $100 back.
I am taking this to the corporate office to make sure they at least know what's going on at one of their Hotels in merriville indiana.

The room I booked was in poor condition, and the bathroom was completely clogged, making it unusable for the entire day. Despite our repeated requests, the staff didn’t change our room. When we spoke to the manager, she was extremely rude and even shouted at us. very unprofessional and disrespectful. We also asked the staff to at least clean the toilet by midday, but they didn’t take any action.
