We went for a quick overnight trip. The manager on duty was rude and did not know any events going on in the community. My husband and kids went to swim but the door to the outside was open and it was freezing in the pool area. Staff was unable to be located to asked about the issue. The next day when checking out, same manager, just took our room key without a word. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable. The one staff member we had interactions with was rude.

All staff were very nice , helpful. House keeping failed to come in for clean towels after being asked . Handy capped shower sucks. We did not request or needed one . The mess stayed as it was. The air-conditioning was extremely loud , & the grounds well needed quite a bit of attention.

Ignoring Issue

I tried calling several times to cancel my reservation through phone and online and it was never done.

I’ve been charged and never stayed there.

The staff are really nice people that are very helpful. The hotel was very clean. They offered a decent breakfast. I will definitely stay at this location the next time I'm in the area.

A Tired, Old Hotel with Recent Updates

This is a former Rodeway Inn, so the property looks tired and old, even though the finishes inside have been recently updated...lots of weeds and lack of nice landscaping, and not a nice parking lot area. Trash, weeds, overgrowth, etc., all around the property perimeter. It reminds me of the saying, "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig." For example, in our room, the new carpet was shoddily installed, with gaps between the carpet and baseboards. They slapped some new carpet, furniture, and finishes in the rooms, but the bones are old, and you can tell. The elevator was gross. But the hotel interior and rooms were at least clean, so there's that. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was decent, and the food area was very clean. Overall, both positives and negatives, but I don't think the rating/reviews were honestly reflective of the actual property.
