The staff were all very friendly and courteous, and the room was clean and extremely comfortable. The only improvements or changes I would suggest are just personal notes:
1. Fix your WiFi- it's very slow
2. Put some diet drinks in the vending machines
Overall, our stay at The Marriott was fantastic and will definitely stay there again on our next trip to New Orleans.

Hotel is old. Like everything, services are down, prices are up. If you can get a lake view room, that is nice.

I waited while the staff at the front desk changed our room to the lake Side since we had never stayed there before. Then she actually switched us to inland. Room service came in Styrofoam with plastic silverware. I called the manager who never returned my call after I spoke to him directly. It was disappointing.
