We experienced a fire in our home and had an extended stay at this property. TheySales Director Willy was so helpful in encouraging us each day. He went out of his way to make us comfortable as we had a lot of adjustments to make. His cheerful nature and help made an arduous experience so much more enjoyable!

Unhappy with the new daily parking fee that you now get charged. They do not tell you about it up front. When i inquired about it at checkout, the clerk simply said that it is in the web page fine print! Seemed rather deceptive. Was not included in their website quote.

We have stayed in RI hotels in different parts of the nation and it’s usually our first choice because I of the room layouts, the service, and free breakfast. Personally, I love coming back to a clean room when I’m out all day. And RI Marriotts are usually on point. This is our first time in MN so we wanted to stay in a RI Marriott because we have had great experiences and family memories at the ones we have stayed in for some of our previous family trips. We arrived close to midnight on a Saturday and were tired. The staff member at the desk was very helpful and friendly. We checked in and finally got to rest. The breakfast is good and we enjoyed our stay for the first couple of days. Today we were surprised when we were asked if we took our trash out since we are not on the schedule. In all of our stays at a RI Marriott we have never been asked that - NEVER. We were leaving the hotel and I called in to find out why my husband was asked about taking out the trash and then hearing the hotel staff call down to someone saying not to tell patrons that their room would be serviced if they are not on the room service schedule RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. We were leaving the hotel for our day so I called in to find out more about why my husband was treated that way. I informed the hotel staff who answered the phone that we were never informed of a room service schedule. I was told that the room service schedule is posted by the check-in??? No offense but we came in late and were not informed of a room service schedule and we definitely were not thinking about reading a room service schedule/policy. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told I would be transferred to Marjorie who would take my call. I was transferred to a voicemail box. No one picked up my call. We will be back to MN for the same reason why we were here this time and I’m sad that this happened. All in all, I guess patrons have to make sure they read RI Marriott’s room service schedule when checking in - even if you’re tired. We felt like “guests” in someone’s home until today.

Pros: value/price, room size, free breakfast, free parking, decent area for shopping , attached to a community lap pool (limited times to swim), friendly staff. Cons: location (about 15-20 mins from airport); no pool, breakfast area is very crowded when busy

Aiman was very helpful . He waited for me when I accidentally took the wrong shuttle. He also called me to confirm with me where he was. The drive was smooth and fast to the hotel. He also had great recommendations for food. Thank you for being so considerate and kind!

This Marriot does not own a pool. It has access to a pool connected to the building, but is run by the park district. The problem is, if you want to swim anytime after 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, the local swim team is using the pool, so you at not allowed to use it. If you want to swim in the morning from 6:00 ti 8:00am, you can’t use it because it is for park members only.Saturday morning can’t swim from 8:30 am to 12:30 because of the swim. So disappointed! Rotten bathroom door

We have stayed at this Marriott Bonvoy Property twice and are headed back for another stay. The entire staff is wonderful, so I have to mention several names. Olivia, Kimmy and Kacie at the front desk. Robert, Chief Engineer. Ana Holewa, along with the kitchen workers, who are hands on making sure that all the quests were enjoying the expansive breakfast buffet that is served every morning.

My partner and I were traveling to MSP for a weekend trip and picked the Residence Inn Edina on the basis of relatively good reviews. Due to airline delays, we did not arrive at the hotel until 1:00am. The front desk associate who helped us was curt, but we figured that was due to the hour! We were severely disappointed when we went to the room. There was mold growing around the drain in the bathtub, a recent coffee stain on the table in the living area that clearly hadn't even been wiped up, and hairs all over the room. Post-COVID, I've had lower standards for the cleanliness of a room, especially knowing that most hotels are struggling to retain cleaning staff, but I have to draw a line somewhere. We returned downstairs to report the issue to the Front Desk, only to be greeted with indifference. By this point, it was nearly 2am and we were desperate for somewhere to sleep. Fighting a battle with this hotel over whether the room is clean enough was not something we wanted to do, so we went to a nearby hotel to stay the night. I returned to the hotel the following morning to clear up what had happened. I explained how dirty the room was and was met with a blank look from the duty manager. After she went over to the computer and pulled up the reservation, she then implied that we were being deceitful, noting that our recorded check-out time in the computer was 4:30am, not 2am as I pointed out. After some back and forth, she agreed to cancel the reservation and refund the first night (this is the only factor preventing the hotel from getting 1 star.) At no point did I receive an apology for my experience, or any effort to make it right beyond the bare minimum (the alternate hotel we moved to was more expensive than the Residence Inn - I know that's on us for choosing to move, but it would have been nice to have some gesture from our original hotel to make us whole in light of the issues we had.) Our lesson has been learned - this hotel does not maintain standards in either cleanliness or in customer service. A big disappointment for our weekend trip to MSP.

A conveniently located hotel for the Edina/Bloomington area, but the facility is old, tired, and in need of updating and renovation. Dark wood everywhere, worn carpets, plastic utensils. Everything from the parking lot to the bathrooms need a face lift. Breakfast was especially disappointing. World’s cheapest sausage links (all filler) and stale breads, bagels, and muffins. The fresh fruit, like the building, was past its prime. I noticed small but careless management errors, too, like cars parking overnight in the fire lane, an unilluminated US flag outside at night, and dishes piled by the elevator through out my stay. In general, I would say better leadership, management, and planning are needed.

酒店回复: Dear ronaldn802, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience while staying with us. Your experience was below our standard. Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. Our property was scheduled for renovations in 2020, as you can imagine the pandemic pushed these updates back. We are currently planning renovations for either later this year or next year, the date is to be determined. I will speak to my leadership team to ensure standards are being upheld in regards to: the quality and presentation of our breakfast items, monitoring our parking lot to ensure guests are not obstructing the fire lane, and that our hallways are clear of clutter and trash. I hope you choose to stay with us again when your travels bring you back to the area. Sincerely, Colin Nickell
