Upon checking out, the housekeeping person accused myself and my wife of smoking in the room. Total LIE. Neither of us smoke. Don’t know the scam they are trying to pull, but legal actions will be taken. *******, Hilton in Hattiesburg Miss is not a REPUTABLE COMPANY.

For a Hilton, and having stayed at Hilton properties all over the World, this was by far the worst experience by far. I would have asked for a full refund if I had paid directly to Hilton. The bed had no linen. Half of the lights did not work. The automatic curtain system was broke. The shower curtain was ripped and twisted. No thanks, I wasted my money at this hotel. I will NEVER stay there again. I did advise the manager.

Phone in room did not work! Went to front desk, no attendant available. Used the elevator phone to call attendant still none. Walked into slippery floor as if baby oil had been spilt, fire alarm went off at 1230am.... again no working phone, called the front desk to ask if everything was ok from my cell phone, attendant did answer and said it was an issue with their system. In the morning no hot water. Wouldnt reccomend to anyone.

When I booked my stay I opted to pay an extra $25 for breakfast. When I got there they told me they didn’t see that and if I wanted breakfast I would have to pay. I told them I opted for the option and again she said she didn’t see it in her system. So I paid extra for something I didn’t get. I tried looking for a receipt that showed I paid that get but couldn’t find anything.

The staff is alway fun and interesting. That is what I admire about the young man, Jason I met at breakfast the morning of my last stay on the 20th. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. One of my previous stays with you all I was very impressed with Mary at the front desk, her warmth and kindness was noteworthy and Ashly the housekeeper was so sweet and kind. She helped me with my luggage. I didn't think people still did that. Whoever does the staffing at your hotel deserves a metal, they are hiring and training what the hospitality industry is really all about. A crew like yours doesn't just happen. The Hilton Garden Inn Hattiesburg makes me want to travel more, because I know they care.

Mistakes can be made, yet the error was corrected.
Initially, we were not given the room we reserved which was two queen beds. Even though I purchased the insurance. However, after returning to the front desk with proof, we were moved to the room we reserved. We do appreciate this.

The walls and ceiling all have cracked or falling pieces of material, the paint jobs in the rooms especially the bathrooms was very poorly done with stains covered over, and I saw a roach at the pool as well as in our bathroom.

I’m from Meridian, MS. I was the insurance agent for the Roberts/Cistrunk families and this hotel is Directv. I could not watch my late friend’s stepson, Jamal, on American Idol because Directv does not carry ABC! 😭😭😭
