The only negative issues with this property had to do with the fact that the business is closed. We arrived at the address, but there were no Homewood Suites signs, the place was totally dark (no lights on), and the doors were locked. We knocked on the outer door and women answered. She asked if we had a reservation, which we did. She advised us that the facility was closed and had been bought out and was merging with the hotel next door and that construction for renovation was about to begin. Other than that, they were honoring existing reservations, but no allowing any walk-ins. Oh...and no breakfast. All other amenities were open, such as the pool and weight room, but that was all. We were only there one night and never saw another customer, but it was a bit weird having the entire hotel to ourselves.

The place has an old feel. Doors squeak, front doors kept opening and closing even though it was very cold outside. We could not contact the front desk via room phone - we had to use our cell phone to call them. When I did need a couple of things the staff did respond quickly.

When I checked in, there was an extra 100 dollars on top of what my stay was charged that I was not made aware of before checking in, the staff was quite grumpy and largely unhelpful, and the hot tub didn't work. Overall, very unhappy with the place...will not be back

I had a king suite and liked it alot. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. Bathroom was updated adding to the appeal. The furniture in the sitting area needs replacement though. I didn't feel like sitting there but I was there only one night. For an extended stay, that would have been a drawback. Kitchen was very convenient, but they should provide more than one set of eating utensils. The garbage disposal was too powerful for the small size sink. Not a big deal, just throws food out when turned on. Overall a very inviting room. I was not crazy about being across from the elevator, but there were only one or two noisy guests briefly passing by.

Our sheets were dirty. The carpets in the hotel were stained and out dated. No toilet paper in the bathroom in lobby. I couldn’t check out and get a receipt because there wasn’t an employee available.

Relaxing and Wonderful, Will be back!
It was such as an amazing experience that I added on to our stay. There was a fire alarm situation that another guest pulled the button during breakfast. The staff handled everything great! They were calm, they assisted by getting everyone clean blankets or towels to stay warm. It was quick!
The breakfast was excellent every day! Much nicer than many other hotels that include breakfast. I also loved that they have a hot tub!
Our room was spacious and nice, and a perfect way to relax at the end of a busy day!

Hotel smells not as pleasant, when family of four trying to get blanket for sofa bed, office do not have clean supply. Otherwise, good location, friendly staff
