Just one person there named Jade very unfriendly. I booked two rooms, expected my rooms to be by each other and they weren’t. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned very good either. And me and my son got kicked out of the breakfast, cause we had socks on. Did not feel comfortable there. I would not recommend staying there. And I’m not saying all Hampton inns are bad just this one.

This hotel was under exterior repairs that made it difficult to know where to enter, so much so that we weren’t even sure if it was operational! Once inside, the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast offerings were excellent! It is a pet friendly facility which is truly great, but someone’s frightened pet moaned and cried loudly many hours making rest and sleep difficult. While we sympathize with the pet owner, we were surprised that it echoed so loudly inside our room, so soundproofing could be improved.

Outside rennovation of property made walking unsafe due to lack of lighting, tarp taped down that was coming loose, sidewalk from handicapped parking dropped off into sand/rocks and in the dark was impossible to see. This was after having to step over (stumble into) parts of this sidewalk that he concrete chunks on it. Trash dumpster came for construction materials (?) at 3:40am and by 5 am trash trucks were at the shopping center next door. Toilet ran continually unless we fixed it ourselves which we did 3 times. They offered a maintenance person to come up but we were exhausted after a 10 hour drive and 2nd hard day and did not want to be interrupted. No housekeeping which we did not realize so ended up with overflowing trash cans in the room. One of the handcappped grab bars was in a strange place and there was nothing to grab when getting up from toilet. Very poor water pressure - little trickle at sink and almost enough to get the soap off you in the shower. Nice tv and had complaints acknowledged by someone at the hotel. Supposedly there is a way I can get money back from ******* for this experience which I need to explore.

Great place to stay. We came down for Marine graduation for our daughter. Super easy check in, friendly staff. There are some renovations going on outside, which is only reason I did not give 5 stars and only 4. Power surged two different times which cut lights off but it immediately came back on. Beautiful view of the marsh outside with benches. Would stay here again.

The hotel has construction occurring and is overall low on outside maintenance. Our room was adequate but less than the quality I expect from Hampton Inn. Our room had a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door and the light fixture of the bathroom had significant mold and/or dead insects inside the light cover.

The hotel parking lot is under construction but parking is easy to find. Most staff members went above and beyond to help out our large group. The hotel is older but well maintained.
