My husband and I stayed 3 nights at the hotel. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a very pleasant staff. The room was big and clean. The breakfast had a lot of options. What we really liked was that there was bottled water available for guests. My husband travels a lot for work, and he said that this was the first time there was free water. In addition, there was a happy hour with complimentary drinks! It was nice to sit, relax and have a beverage in the lobby. Finally, after talking to Justin, we booked multiple trips. We would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was the best part. For such a nice hotel on the outside the inside doesnt no reflect the same. At 2 am our ceiling started leaking and we had to mive to a room two stories up. The staff was accomodating but the inside needs some TLC. Staaf gets 5 star hotels itself 1

This historic hotel is located in the original Citadel building. It is conveniently located and has easy access to many historic sites. The staff is friendly; the breakfast is very good. The hotel is clean but needs an overall refresh. Rooms are clean, but tired. Carpet, furniture, overall condition in need of a significant facelift.

Staff was very nice, the breakfast was great and the location was perfect to walk to downtown. The rooms and hotel seemed to have zero windows… the rooms had none and it made them musty and they smelled. There was zero air flow so it either got way to cold or way too hot. Otherwise the hotel was good.

Rooms were not well kept ! sofa was broken and sunk in. Toilet stopped up had to request plunger to keep in bathroom !!! Staff were all great and helpful

The staff here is awesome, same for the location. The free breakfast and free happy hour at the hotel was top notch. The hotel is dated but clean. I would stay here again as price was worth it.

Visit was fine until water started flowing into my room around 9pm one night. They did comp one night but no one from Embassy Suites offered to help move several items.

first the room smelled like mold, second hot water no there was a lack of hot water, 3rd a gift was sent to the front desk and never made it to our room
we visit Charleston 3 to 4 times per year we will NEVER stay at this hotel again
很不错的酒店。位于市中心，所以步行是最好的出行方式。我希望能提前知道这里只有代客泊车服务，这是我不喜欢的，而且两天居然要花我98美元……我可能就会选择其他地方了。但总的来说还是不错的。房间很大，电视有点小，但我们大部分时间都在外面逛。空调可以完全自主控制。酒店本身就是原来的城堡，住在这样一座历史建筑里真的很棒。
