I wish there was a selection for 0 stars. As I sit here in this disgusting room with 2 TVs that do not work I am appalled this is acceptable to the Marriott brand. When I arrived in the lobby no one was at the front desk and I noticed there were almost bare shelves in the snack area/wall. Maybe two options and several packs of laundry soap. Then a man emerged from the back room and checked me in. Not professionally dressed by hotel standards but whatever. I noticed the desk or table in that back room was just littered with junk and items lying in their side. Terrible. However, check in was super fast and easy. He didn’t even ask for my ID or credit card. I travel a lot for business and have NEVER checked in to a hotel without being asked for both. So I proceeded to the elevator. As I waited for the elevator I noticed the man was wearing flip flops or those slide shoes. Also started to notice the condition of the space thus far. Ice machine out of order and one of the dryers out of order. I head up to my room which was right next to the elevator. As soon as the elevator door opens I get a faint smell of Chinese food or something along with air freshener like the kind you would smell in an old car. It’s late, I’m tired, I’m hungry so I ignore it. I get into my room and WOW what a skeevy disappointment. Carpet frayed in a couple areas, holes in the arm of the 1980’s couch, ripped seat cushion in the kitchen table, dirty fork in the sink with food remnants stuck to the bottom of the sink, dirty stove top from food and it was so beat up with scratches and wear. The floor in the bathroom is cheap vinyl planks that are uneven my sock got caught in it. Thank God I carry Clorox wipes with me because they are a definite must. So I get in and start to settle. I attempt to turn the TV on in the bedroom. No go. The remote is lit up but won’t turn on the TV. So I get up and turn it on directly from the TV. Success! However it says No Signal. I play with it for a bit and then attempt same with the living room TV. Nope. Doesnt work. No Sugnal again. After about 20 mins of this nonsense I call the front desk to let him know and he suggested I turn in the TV by the TV itself. I confirmed that. He said well we do t have anyone here to help with that but he’ll send them up in the morning. WHAT?!?! So I went back troubleshooting again with the box behind the TV only to find a ton of dust bunnies and a tiny little bug or ant or something crawling out of it! Still no TV. I’ve been sneezing ever since and now have itchy watery eyes! I was hungry so I did order food and went down to meet the delivery guy. I overheard a lady sitting in the lobby tell the front desk man she got locked out of her room and was waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes for someone to help her!!! Unbelievable and ridiculous. After I ate and started getting really frustrated about the 2 non working TVs so I went downstairs to the lobby to ask for a room change. Waiting about 5-6 minutes and still n

Clean and spacious room, helpful staff, and a good basic breakfast. Overall, a solid stay and an excellent value. No gym onsite but the front desk staff will give you a pass to the nearby Colorado Athletic Club. It’s a full service gym with a nice lap pool.

It was 9:00 pm or so when we arrived, so it was dark. Here are the unfortunates: 1. Sketchy people loitering 2. One door getting into our building (B) was jammed shut so we had to walk a ways down to get into the building 3. The elevator in building B was pitch black - so creepy. I had to use the light on my mobile phone 4. Got to our room and the door was OPEN. Our key card didn’t flash green or anything so, seeing the door was just ever so slightly open a tiny crack maybe, I pushed on it and it just opened. I contacted the gentleman at the front desk and told him everything right then and there. He apologized profusely and told us to come on back to the check in desk. I would have preferred an escort and for him to come look at these issues immediately, but we headed back. 5. Even though this fellow knew I was upset, and even though we returned to the front desk immediately as he had told us to do, he wasn’t anywhere to be seen when we got back a couple minutes later and we waited at least 5 minutes for him to return! My mind was blown. I was getting ready to leave to go to a better hotel when he finally showed back up, arriving from the laundry room carrying some clean and folded bedding and looking befuddled. It then took him a few minutes to get us our new room key. 6. Not super convenient location. Once we finally got to our room, it was clean and quiet, but after seeing the dilapidated part of the hotel at night and not getting promptly assisted, not going to stay the second night we planned!!

Good luck just finding the front door to enter this hotel. The property feels forgotten, the rooms are dark and not laid out well (only bathroom by front door in a one bedroom suite?). NO fitness center and completely unhelpful at front desk when I asked about their agreement with a fitness facility 4 miles away. We originally booked for 3 nights but when I was woken up at 6 a.m. but the strongest scent of ham cooking from the breakfast (awful ventilation) I went down and checked out early. We went to another Marriott property that was a night and day difference. They got us checked in early and I was able to use their gym before I even checked in. I would never stay at this TownePlace Suites again.

I do not recommend this hotel in DTC, bad representation altogether. Stay here…if want to be inconvenienced, only then would it ever be 5 star And don’t bother sharing your concerns… See for yourself…if you have points, money or time to waste on a Bon Voy stay, sad representation of a Marriott brand altogether. I hate to admit, but very true !!!

This is a nice and clean hotel, we stayed for 2 nights with family, the hotel is near to many restaurants and branded stores/mall. I have a lifetime top elite status with Marriott and have stayed in countless Marriott properties across US over the years, the main reason that makes a hotel good is the hotel staff and how they treat their guests, the staff in this hotel is great/exceptional. We were greeted by Jen S at (Reception), She was extremely helpful and upgraded our room and took time and explained us about breakfast time and other things related to the hotel, when we were leaving after 2 days and didn’t find the luggage cart Jen S sent the hotel staff to help us out with our luggage, all this hospitality makes guest feel good/important, we had a great stay at this hotel-Special thanks to Jen S and staff, will surely stay here again when we visit this area and recommend same to family and friends.

I am simply copying the email I sent to the property manager as my review. I removed some personal specific details and corrected a handful of typo's. The TownePlace Suites Denver Tech Center is not worth the price we paid to stay there for one night. My wife said it best when she called it a Motel 8 with a half assed attempt at a kitchen. I will attempt to sum up my experience in this email. No doubt I will miss a few of the details of what went into the poor quality of the stay. But these are things you need to know and things I plan to leave in my Google review. I will also be reaching out to Marriott corporate about these issues. We arrived at about 6pm on Friday, 1Sep23. We were greeted by Brandon at the front desk who was eager to help. It was also very clear that Brandon was new to the hospitality industry. While he was checking us in, I mentioned that when I completed the reservation, I had asked for crib service. To which he replied "For what?" as my wife was standing next to me holding our 1 yr old son. I also asked about the additional pillows and towels we had requested. He said he would check into it and get back to me. The first thing about the buildings we noticed was the solid green pool with the bike locks holding the gates closed and no sign. I specifically selected your hotel because of the pool and the crib services. The pool was clearly closed but nothing about "sorry for the inconvenience" or anything. Then, we noticed the exterior "security" doors. None of the ones we used closed on their own properly. I told Brandon about this and he told me there was a new maintenance guy who is supposed to fix them at some point. I took my wife and son to our room and began unpacking the bags we would need. The first thing my wife and I noticed was that there had clearly been former tenants with a cat in there as the corner of the couch looked like a well worn scratching post and there was a large round hole in the carpet about the size of a pie plate. The refrigerator had a large pool of water in the bottom drawers and there was a distinct funk in the air. This was room 129B. I complained to Brandon about this and he moved us across the hall to 130B. Thus, we began the process of relocation. The new room still suffered from the scratching post issue, but no hole in the carpet and no pond in the fridge. So, we stayed. When we were ready for bed, I had to go back over to the front desk to ask again about the crib, pillows and towels. Brandon handed me a bag with the towels, pillows and a couple of flat sheets for the pack and play as well as the pack and play. Points for the flat sheets. I took everything back to the room and when we set up the crib, it had caked on food all over the place. Clearly this has not been cleaned since the prior person used it. I would think in this day and age, the issues with this are clear? When I returned the pack and play to the front desk, I asked Brandon to have the manager call me and that my cel

The hotel has an excellent location if you want to be south denver which was our case (near DTC and Park Meadows). Price for a 2 bedroom was good. Facilities were as expected. The breakfast was very very basic and low quality. So we always fixed ours. We were on the second floor and could hear every single step from above. Certainly the architect of this hotel has to be fired and the project manager from Marriot too. Zero noise control in the design. Staff was friendly.

Really like my room en-suite with a full kitchen, as well as the quiet space. What made the stay though was their management. When the breakfast person called in sick, their manager showed up and took full accountability. She even was helpful helping me with their vegetarian breakfast items. Thank you, I will stay again in the future!

Used Marriott app to check in early and give my arrival time. I arrived 1/2 later and my room wasn't ready. Not a problem! Case at front desk was excellent. She got me into a different room right then and there. Room was clean and organized well. Only room issue was a loud squeaky floor in the bathroom so feel sorry for those on the floor below me. Would look to stay here again.
