Don't stay in room 1122. I can't vouch for the whole hotel, but this room was NOT it! Over $400 for one night to not have hot water, spiders, and a toilet that wouldn't flush I the lower bedroom! While it's certainly big enough room it's not worth it. Look further!

VERY comfy and affordable res inn option if in area. Rooms are in "different buildings" so you are outside to get to from pool/breakfast/etc. Staff was awesome and suites are excellent! Easily will stay again if in area!!

Eugene Lynch is the most incompetent, rude, useless, manger that ignores customers and resolves no issues. Unfortunately I had the misfortune to stay at Residence Inn, Shelton CT. This business is closing down September of 2025, and I was never notified of this fact beforehand. The room had a terrible odor, broken dishwasher, frayed carpets, light fixture over dining table falling down from ceiling, worn out finish on the bathtub with black mold around edges, broken tv remote, handle broke off french doors and a front door handle that barely worked. There was also a terrible bee infection. Grounds where poorly kept. Everything was completely ignored by management. I am positive Marrriot headquarters staff with not approve of my experience there was handled .

Before I go any further, I have to compliment all the staff I encountered. They were helpful and smiling. Coffee was hot and ready in the lobby breakfast area. That’s where the good parts end. This motel? hotel? is run down and old, and not in a cool vintage way. The first room i was given was missing the dead bolt, on the ground floor. No thank you. Changed to another room. Generally just poorly maintained, carpet tears, stained towels and washcloths, etc. Ceiling in the shower was visibly leaking.

Marriott should be embarrassed that their name is on this place. Completely run down. Should bulldoze it and start from scratch. The door to our room barely closed. Someone had stolen the toilet paper holder. The exterior was rotted wood with peeling paint.

I was hesitant pulling into this Residence Inn, because, as others have noted, it is not the typical Residence Inn footprint. It is more like a motel, with many separate buildings, and units that open right onto the parking lot. However, this was a great stay. We arrived at about 10 PM on a Saturday night. When the front desk staffer immediately thanked me for my Titanium status, I asked her nicely if she had any upgrades to anything with two beds. She upgraded me to a “penthouse suite” which was essentially one bedroom apartment with a loft that has a separately bed and bathroom. It was extremely spacious and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked. A family could comfortably stay here for a long time. The next morning, the hot breakfast was at least average Residence Inn quality. The reviews below would have deterred me, if I had read them, so I’m glad I didn’t.

This was the weirdest hotel experience ever. I asked for an extra pillow and blanket and they didn’t have pillows but they had blankets as long as I came and got them from the front desk myself. Huh? The pool was dirty, the toilet ran, and my tv didn’t work. Overall the room seemed clean and it was fine for what I needed but NOT a Marriott hotel. I’m not above getting my own stuff but I’m at a hotel- I just didn’t expect it. It wasn’t horrible, it just was more like staying in a college dorm than a hotel. This place needs a serious management upgrade

Don’t stay here. The stay started out with an extremely rude front desk worker. Then after we got to the room, the extra bedding, pillows, and towels for a family of seven that we requested when booking the room were not there. One on the kids didn’t have a pillow, all the pillows in the suite were used. The in suite doors did not shut all the way. The pull out mattress had stains. On of the beds had small blood stains on the sheets. When telling the front desk of issues no extra pillows were given. The breakfast was of the most poor quality. Do not stay here.

The hotel is in need of upgrading. Beds are not comfortable, rugs are old, and bathrooms need remodels. Ran out of hot water when taking a shower. And as a titanium member I typically get an upgrade. Not here. To get more towels I had to walk to the lobby in the outdoors as the rooms are not connected by a hallway. Parking lot is riddled with potholes. Overall I will never stay here again.
很不错的酒店,就是价格一开始算错了😃不过还好,都解释清楚了😃
