Room was clean but coffee machine was not working and boiled over. Light bulb burned out in bed sconce. A better business center with PCs would have been nice. Staff very polite and helpful. A lobby bar would have been helpful or take out beer or wine from pantry.

This property has changed hands from being a Hampton which I loved staying at to a Wyndham. The inside looks like it’s in the process of being something else but they aren’t there yet by a long shot. Carpet is stained, toilet overflowed, fitness room closed. And still they are the most expensive lodging in Bemidji.

Our overall stay was great- however the amount of people that are not hotel guests coming to the beach to get food from Green Mill got a little excessive. Non hotel guests parking boats right in swimming beach area, and i once counted a group of 34 from 3 different boats that left their boats in swimming area, got food and loitered in the private beach area for several hours. Other than that the hotel was great itself with great staff.

I found the front personnel very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that the it wasn’t possible to pay for a day pass to use the equipment outside. My granddaughter had nothing to do in the water. Also, the amount of bird poop was astounding on the docks and the seating area outside the hotel. Strongly suggest you do something about the birds and clean up their messes.

Excellent place to stay overall. The drop of one star is solely because of how abominable the attached restaurant - Green Mill - is operated. Just horrendous preparation and management, though the food (when it comes out at some point) is tasty. Gave it 3 tries just because it was there, and first 2 were simply terrible with disorganization and mistakes … third time was better.
