Pool was not available which was a problem. Breakfast was sufficient. Room was clean. It was very loud most of the night from people stomping on floor above us and running up and down the hallway.

Loved how close it was to the event we attended at Cable Dahmer. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Missed getting to eat the breakfast so can't comment on that

Not up to standard.
I was disappointed with my stay at this Holiday Inn Express in Independence. It was pretty dirty. The only way I was able to tolerate my stay was. I had cleaning supplies with me. I cleaned out the tub of soap scum and the nastiness of the bottom of other feet. The tub was not white. It was gray. The corners still had existing dust. The windowsills were as though they hadn’t been cleaned in quite a long time.

This hotel lacked of good maintenance. It seemed like a hotel that was about to close it’s doors, poorly managed. The bathroom was very old, the tub was disgusting. It screamed renovation.

Very enjoyable stay here. Clean, comfortable room and a great restaurant a short walk away.. I'd definitely stay here again.

Liked the staff. Building and rooms well maintained. Coffee and breakfast options very good. (Hot cinnamon rolls looked good but I was already full.)
