All of the staff were extremely nice and the lobby had tons of good meet up spaces, but the room wasn't amazing. I stayed here 20 years ago and remember the rooms feeling a little dated. Nothing has changed since then. Aside from that, it did feel clean and I did sleep well all three nights. I would pass on the breakfast - seemed out of basic items most mornings, like eggs, fruit, etc., but maybe I just picked the wrong time to go.

Didn’t enjoy this Marriott at all! Staff is limited during the night mind rude also!! The hotel
Just had an old dusty feel to it!! I enjoyed the hot water and pressure of the shower

Quick Get-away
My husband and I had a great stay at the Marriott West in St. Louis for a quick anniversary getaway. The staff was very helpful, and the view from our room was lovely.

It was a beautiful weekend, and we were looking forward to hanging by the pool outside, but it was closed for maintenance. It was the primary reason we chose the hotel.

Overall great place to stay really-
Checking in was quick and simple- front desk staff were great. Good parking options as well felt like a secure area-including a covered parking garage. Room was definitely good but when my wife went to take a shower there was no shower curtain. It was 1145pm (we checked in late) and she was too tired to bother calling the front desk. Bed was comfortable and that helped.
In the morning we went to have breakfast at the restaurant but after waiting approximately 10 minutes and seeing no one to help or seat anyiobe, and two other couples had gotten in line behind us, we gave up and decided to grab food on the road as we needed to head out.
Guessing they must have been short staffed, which does occur, but just left this stay feeling lackluster compared to what we are accustomed to at a Marriott.

I wanna start by saying that the check-in process was pretty simple and the front desk was friendly. I had a few issues along the way. One is I realize that I booked with the breakfast (otherwise you have to pay $20 per person). I had to pay the first day and then after breakfast, I had went up to the front and they said they made a mistake when they checked me in and then gave me complementary cards used for the rest of my stay. But no offer to rectify the fact that I had to pay because of a mistake they made. The rooms are in desperate need of updates. The shower curtain in my bathroom was all torn and you could tell it has been there for a long time. The hotel host a lot of conferences, so it was very loud all night long. The elevators had long waits, it would take 25 to 30 minutes to get on the elevator, and the stairs are not accessible For the price that I paid, I was not pleased. The location though was great. The pools were very small for the amount of people that stay in that hotel at any given weekend. It is not a hotel I would stay at again in the future.

The room was very dirty, small things like lots of grime build up in corners of the room. Neither phones worked. No toilet paper. TV had fuzzy lines. Stains on the walls.
Overall sloppy maintenance & poor housekeeping l.
Workout room & Indoor pool were functional but not wel maintained.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if looking for a decently cleaned hotel.
