Hotel was okay. It was evident it had been recently renovated. Our bathroom floor appeared to not have been cleaned since the renovation. No hair dryer in our room. Not much for breakfast, nothing really hot except for oatmeal. Lobby was very chilly, probably would not stay here again.

Hampton Inns are usually pretty good in my experience and this was an old one that was refreshed into a Spark. This was the first AND last Spark I will stay in. I reserved a King room and the room was a bit underwhelming for refreshed room, for example there was only USB charging on one side of the bed with no outlet on the other side. For the side with two USB ports I tried plugging in two phones and it would not support even one, too low of power output so didn't charge. Ended up charging phone with my battery pack. For cleanliness, there was some pieces of hair on the bed sheets we had to remove, always makes you wonder if they really changed the linens. We checked in online and arrived super late and just wanted to sleep so we did not complain. HVAC controls were broke, display was blank, but fan was running and temp was okay so again did not complain as we were mainly there to sleep and leave. We were a bit mad there was only 1 washcloth provided, I hope this was an oversight by the staff and not intentional. It took about 5-6 minutes to get warm water to the showers, there must be something wrong because it never got hot after waiting ten minutes but was warm enough to stand in and the faucet had warm water after that no matter if you had hot or cold selected. I suspect a faulty mixing valve allowing it to cross over. Furniture was newer as part of the refresh but sparce as well, no drawers, just tables. No place for the Bible so was just sitting out, but cleanliness was not next to godliness as some trash was sitting on it. Breakfast was a bit sparce as well but bagels were good and coffee was above average. We were there a total of 9 hrs but had we had kids or stayed more than the night we probably would have checked out and went elsewhere. I feel like the refresh was lipstick on a pig and none of the infrastructure was improved to make for a great guest experience.

This is a remodelled Hampton Inn. Sign is still at the beginning of the street. At first when entering it looks fresh and new. But the room had a funny smell. Pool is big but clearly forgotten in the remoddeling. Fitness is sufficent but had a terrible rubber smell. We left the door open as the AC wasn't wotking. Breakfast is a joke. Not even a decent toaster to toast the only thing available a bagle! I would spend a bit more and look for another hotel.

The doors had duck tape on the handle. Any key card would not work on one exit door. Pool had a broken ladder and padding was coming off all of the ladders handles.

My husband and I always stay in Hampton Inns when we travel. This was still Hilton owned but it was changing over from Hampton Inn to Spark. Apparently Spark is the cheap way Hilton is going. It is awful! They were changing over as we registered so it is understandable that they would have some WiFi issues (like room keys not working) for a bit but still!! The indoor pool was like ice water, the sink in our room was stopped up, the coffee was constantly OUT. I had to ask for coffee every single time I went to get a cup! The breakfast is now continental so nothing hot. We will be avoiding ALL Sparks! My friend traveling with us talked with a manager who just didn't care that the keys didn't work, the toilet in the room was running all night, the pool was cold, the breakfast was bad.

If you think you are booking a room at a Hampton Inn, think again! We booked this hotel as a convenient stop on a road trip. Following GPS, we arrived at a dilapidated old hotel with a "Spark" sign. Apparently this old hotel is being renovated to become one of Hilton's "Spark" hotels. There was construction debris all around the building. Inside the building, there were empty rooms with no door handle, filled with things like old mattresses. The hotel felt damp and smelled musky. We booked the largest room available. There were open wholes in the bathroom walls with electrical wires sticking out. The toilet was leaking and water was pooled in the corner and against the wall. I felt like I was in a Motel 6. It was really just nasty all around.

Construction death zone. Nails in the hallway. Drywall everywhere. Dust. Floor is missing in lobby. Had to beg for a hairdryer. Do not stay here. This place is not a Hampton quality hotel. Embarrassing to Hilton. They should remove their franchise.

Reserved a two queen room for $187. At check-in was offered a King room. I asked if it would be at the same price as my reservation, and was told yes. Charged over $300 after tax. The hotel should not be open, it was in such disrepair via renovation. The hotel is switching from Hampton to Spark by Hilton. I'm assuming the owners will start with a clean slate so they don't care about bad reviews. Wouldn't consider staying at this property in the future due to awful business practice.

Decent stay. Hotel undergoing major renovation. First floor seemed closed to guests with reservations. Pool open. We stayed in newly renovated room on second floor. Nice. Clean. Lobby and breakfast area a bit of a mess with all of the work. Nice staff.
