Hotel is undergoing renovations but was reasonably priced so we stayed there. Across the street from Portland Mall, very handy to shopping. Good parking. Our room was spacious and relatively clean. There were hanging cobwebs on the ceiling over the bed, but otherwise the room seemed clean.
The pool area needed a deep cleaning. The floor was filthy and there was a lot of 'scum' around the pool tiles. The pool chairs were rusted out as well as the bathroom door frame. It was run down, but I am sure they will address these things as part of the renovation. In the meantime, a good cleaning would do wonders.
The hot tub was great! Lots of jets and relaxing.
The breakfast was really good. We had a hot breakfast and each day it was different. It was kept well stocked.

What an amazing stay! Pool was great but the hot tub was amazing. Easy check in, staff was great. Will definitely stay here again.

Good Value and Location, Major Renovation Coming
This hotel was actually one of the best priced in the area. We were in town visiting UNE's med school with my daughter. Close to everything and what I expected for the price. It is basically an older Hampton Inn that will go under renovations. Staff was great, breakfast was what I would expect. If you are not a fan of the breakfast there is a restaurant called Stacks that is really good and only 6 minutes away.
There was an issue with some extremely loud guests that not only we called the front desk on but so did several other rooms. They went on till almost 4 am. I won't ding the hotel on that as I don't know what protocol is for these types of things.
Overall, I would stay again. I would most likely make this my home base for a hotel due to location and the professional staff if daughter gets into UNE's Med School program.

Good location
The entire hotel needs updating and there was some construction, and I understand a recent acquisition by IHG. The hot tub was accessible at the times advertised. The location is very convenient for shopping, dining and access to highways.

Breakfast could be improved. Coffee was so weak
Toilet ran constantly and wouldn't flush properly.
Gnats/ fruit flies were bothersome in our room when we didnt even have food. It was gross.
