Poor management
Manager was rude indignant and unhelpful. I was told it was under construction but was not told in the even of a storm the indoor Pool would not be available because it connects to the outdoor pool. It’s stormed the evening we checked in. Pool is open till 11 which is why I booked the hotel so we were unable to use it. I asked for a late checkout at 12 which I was granted. I need to find out that the water was gonna be shut off at 11 am till 4 pm which meant I could not shower neither could my three children who I was travelling with at 10:30 before I knew this. I went to the bathroom and there were no lights but the door shut it’s pitch black in that bathroom. There were also no lights in the room. I called the front desk to say I thought they had shut the breaker off by mistake nearing 11 o’clock knowing I had a 12 pm checkout and the girls wanted to use the pool, they offered to move my room. My child is type one diabetic. I had insulin in the fridge and her snacks. It was a lot to move by myself. I mentioned this would take up time that we would not be able to use the pool because we will be moving but I would move so I could showersince I couldn’t shower with the lights off when I went down to the front desk to get the new keys I saw the new signs that had been put up that were not there the night before saying there would be no water from 11 to 4 which meant that the whole moving of the rooms and packing up all my stuff and the children’s stuff had wasted time.

Came in late with our dogs, she wouldn't give me a 1st Floor room to accommodate us, gave us a 3rd floor room, the keys wouldn't work so thank God for Don who moved us to room 114, by a side door, which is where we should've been to start. Other than that, things are fine

Hotel was doing remodeling which had a little noise. Took 3 stars because housekeeping entered the room without knocking and I was standing there in my birthday suit about to get in the shower. We even had the do not disturb sign on the door. Very embarrassing and humiliating.

Nice hotel
I really like this hotel. This was not our first stay. We keep coming back. The pool area is nice. The hotel is clean and friendly. They were working on it this trip so there were some areas blocked off. It was quiet and clean.

I know the hotel was under construction, but next time they should try to put people in rooms that are not underneath jackhammering all day long. It needs a major facelift.
