Anyone who can see this. I have never had such a high level of hospitality. The building was under construction, which means improvements are on the way, but the staff was off the hook. This place is a destination hotel for sure. I have three kids and was actually relaxed because the staff, specifically Kathrine and Pavel could practically read our minds during dinner and happy hour. Something special is happening at this Embassy suite, stay hear and find out.

This hotel is in need of major repairs. The lobby and bar area is decent but the rest of the hotel is majorly outdated and in need of a remodel. I don't know where to start....the elevators are some of the smallest I have ever been in and many were not working during the stay, causing long lines on floors. They lock the stairs so you can't use those an alternative. We were there with a group and what I am about to say was similar for most of us....some of our party actually looked at their room and immediately checked out to go to another hotel. The first room we were given was unacceptable for the $200plus a night we were charged - the carpet had huge spots on it, was ripped and frayed throughout the room. I don't think the carpet was vacuumed between guests - we found debris on the floor, crumbs etc. There were huge lipstick stains on the lampshade and the lamp itself was badly damaged and should just be replaced. The bathroom wasn't clean, there was hair in the tub and on the floor. Where the tile and floors met had gunk on it - looks like no deep cleaning had ever been done. There was hair and stains on the bedspread. We requested a new room and it was only slightly better. I wish we would have left the hotel at this point but we stayed because we were there with other people. The second room was only slightly cleaner than the first. We bought shower shoes to wear while taking a shower. The rooms were humid and sticky and the AC seemed not to be working. The only good thing was that it was so loud that it drowned out the noise from other guests and the outside freeway. We only went down for breakfast one day and picked up some easy to-go items. It was super crowded and people were using the buffet tables as eating tables and just having their breakfast as they moved down the line. The hotel is right on the freeway with two guards in parking lot. I give them credit for that. I know SA hotels have parking lots issues. This hotel is in NO WAY up to Hilton or Embassy Suites standards. It needs to be closed down and completely remodeled. There clearly is a house cleaning issue. The hotel has good bones and could be something very nice - Hilton, it is time to step in and bring this hotel up to standard. For over $200 a night, I expect way better (weekend rate).
