Upon our arrival Angie Perez was extremely courteous and very friendly. Our room was perfect and quiet. The hotel has a great location and not very far from restaurants and shopping. This is one of the best hotels in San Antonio.

Friendly breakfast staff, but slow service. Kitchen closes at 10:30 and we arrived at 10:00. Waitress did not take drink orders with our food orders, and when we realized we forgot to order drinks and asked for coffee, we were told they had already emptied the coffee out. We got breakfast 4 days in a row—slow 3 out 4 days (including the day asked for continental breakfasts to go). Tuesday was a new waitress to us and she was excellent and knew the menu—asked if wanted anything different than what was on the menu, and food got to us quickly so maybe was just a weekend staffing issue. All the staff were very friendly, so we didn’t mind the wait too much since we weren’t really in a big rush except the day wanted to grab and go.
The campfire breakfast was really good. Enjoyed the pancakes with potatoes and bacon. Enough to share if you also want to get an omelet and maybe add another breakfast meat (my mom and aunt added sausages the first day and ended up not being able to finish it all, so I got to have some pancakes). So we would eat there again despite the wait.
