Stay was good but didnt like seeing the flying cockroach in the restaurant

The pest you saw was a palmetto bug, which is common in our area this time of year. We contract with a vendor for preventative pest control and conduct random inspections by the Health Department on a semi-annual basis to ensure pest control and overall cleanliness standards are maintained. Did not have a very good experience. Had to wait over two hours beyond check-in time for our rooms, did not receive the requested room types that we had reserved. Towels in the room were filthy, when we stepped on the bathroom floor water came up between the floorboards. Front desk, staff was not apologetic and not willing to compensate. Eventually spoke with management and they did provide appropriate compensation. Not sure we would stay there again.

Had a work event there this weekend and it was a very nice place to stay, good location to night life in the area, easy parking, and good service from the staff.

I love this Marriott. I have stayed here several times and they exceed my expectation everytime. There staff is friendly and the rooms, hotel and staff are always clean and well put together.

Get new sliding doors for bathrooms.
We really disliked the glass door for the bathroom. We always leave bathroom light on during the night, but close the door most of the way. Through the tinted glass door our room was then MUCH too bright during the night. Also, mattress was just okay.

Pillows too hard and firm for comfortable sleep. Also, temperature maintained at about 68 degrees throughout property, too cold for comfort.

Nice location. Facilities are a little dated but room was very nice. Some additional deep cleaning needed in room.
