Check in staff was nice. She immediately changed me to another room due to first room smelling smoky. There were stains on the furniture and carpeting in the room.

The water was shut off during my visit, there was food on the elevator floor , the bed was dirty , and they also were doing construction . It was disappointing and disgusting. Also , the pool area was disgusting there were no towels the floor was soaking wet in a dangerous way around the pool.

Bar was well stocked and bartender makes good dranks. The kitchen chef waaay overcooked the breakfast bacon, which was so crispy, it snapped like a saltine cracker.

For the relatively low cost, this property exceeded my expectations. Easy check in, clean & quiet room with a king bed, Starbucks coffee at the breakfast counter, ~10 min drive from Shirlington, and ~20-30 mins to DC made this a convenient stay. Would happily stay again when I come to DC.

The location was perfect for me. I was meeting up with some old work friends at one of the restaurants at Springfield Mall. This hotel was directly across the street from the mall.
