Traveling with adult kids means they don't want to share a bed in a regular hotel room (or sleep on a sofa bed), but getting separate rooms often means being at different ends of the hall. Staybridge offered a suite with rooms and beds for everyone, for the same price as getting 2 typical hotel rooms. It was convenient, clean, and the staff was wonderful. We do wish the "living room" area in the suite had more room for sitting -- another chair or 2, or another sofa would have been perfect.

The internet was out for over 12 hours.
Even though we requested “light housekeeping” it was never done. We had to go get our own towels at the front desk and the garbage cans were to the top by the second day.

DO NOT STAY HERE. At least as a local. I was staying here as a single, 35-year-old female because I had a singing gig downtown and didn't want to drive back home to Hampstead late at night. I attempted to check in at about 10PM, and handed the clerk my ID. She said "oh you're local, we don't like locals here", because I guess locals trash their hotel? I'm sorry if that's happened in the past but it was once again just me and a small overnight bag. I felt judged, uncomfortable, and extremely unwelcome. Ruined my whole evening actually because I had to call ******* to get my refund (which I am still waiting on days later), and then also didn't have anywhere to stay and had to drive home 40 minutes at 2AM. It's not that I had been drinking, but I don't trust the other cars on the road during that time of night. To say that locals can't stay at your hotel doesn't seem fair or right to me.

We really enjoyed our stay. This is a pet friendly hotel and it's super clean. Other than seeing all the dogs you'd never know. And we NEVER leave our pup behind!!
All the staff we encountered were super nice and friendly, from the front desk to the cleaning service to the breakfast staff. We needed a short weekend get away and we were pleased with our choice of stay!
Now the only con;
No vent in the bathrooms!!
Sometimes that is necessary!!!!😝

Great place to stay in Wilmington.
I went there to help the family move my granddaughter into her dorm at UNCW. The breakfast bar was great and the room was very nice.

Pet fees and parking fees?
The exterior of the hotel had trash in grass and trees areas and landscaping not maintained. First impression. I did not see anythi g on the site that calledfor a no pet refund or a 50.00 retention fee affiliated with the parking? You are just caught off guard with that cost. Fix your washer and dryers great that they are free but workers use them and have no respect with using them. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable.
