Friendly staff (especially front desk and restaurant), nicely renovated rooms, upgrades for IHG members (my room was a suite), and decent prices make this a great place to stay. They even have a cool display case with historical Holiday Inn paraphernalia.

The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well supplies. The front desk staff was very helpful. I had difficulty trying to connect to Wi-Fi but they helped me and I'm grateful. The breakfast was hot and the selection was more than adequate ~ eggs, bagels, sausage, juice, cereal, yogurt, bacon, muffins, etc. It was ready on time. Overall, a very good experience.

The entire cleaning staff resigned a couple of weeks ago. No housekeeping service for even long stays. Was not informed upon check in. There is however a small sheet of paper with that info at checking process. Contacted ihg Diamond member concierge, they loop you back to front desk. Virginia and Gail were sweethearts. Perhaps they need to look for another employer. I do not want a canned response from the owners. I want real compensation for services not offered. They did move me to the Double Tree next door. Same slum lord owner no housekeeping service.

Had the misfortune of having to deal with an angry girl at the Front Desk today. This definitely will be my last stay here. The hotel has a non working computer for guests. God forbid you ask this girl to print something for you, since there is no printer for guests to use. This is not.mu forat time staying here. I asked her if she could print up a report for me. She looked at me with an annoyed look. She then asked me how many pages the report was. I told her it was 22 pages. She then said no. I can't print that many. I asked why not and she said that's too many pages. I was at a Holiday Inn in Pittsburgh this morning, and it wasn't a problem for them. I was at a Holiday Inn in Indianapolis last week. It wasn't a problem for them. Not very hospitable. Why is this girl working here. She snapped at me telling me she didn't like my attitude. Who do u think pays the bills. It's the business travelers. The owners of this hotel should be removed from IHG. This place is a dump and is in desperate need of a remodel. How about remodeling the awful training.

We wouldn't stay here again. Let me first say that the girl at the front desk who checked us in was very nice and helpful! Our first room was really dirty, dust all over the walls and ceiling, wallpaper peeling off the wall, mold and rust in the bathtub, etc. We were moved to a different room which was better, but still a little run down. We were not impressed with the overall quality of the hotel, it needs some renovations and looks worn. The front desk ceiling has plaster falling down. The exterior door entrance to the hotel hallway was unlocked and we could get in without our room key, not very secure. They do offer breakfast but it was $9 so we decided to get Starbucks instead. We found some hair in the bathtub in our new room. Just overall I think there are nicer hotel options out there, I thought Holiday Inn was held to a higher standard.

We needed a place to stay for a short night in a pinch. Without time to do much research we chose this property because we normally have a good experience with Holiday Inn. This place is not up to the typical HI standard and should be torn down and rebuilt. Multiple signs of water damage, moldy shower curtain, the loudest AC/Heat unit that I have ever had in a hotel room, and everything just overall dated. I will never stay here again and would advise to avoid. There are multiple other options REALLY close that are the same price. Go there instead.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a deeply disappointing experience. The room and hotel hallways had visible mold and a strong mildew smell, making it uncomfortable to breathe. When they did have towels available they were rough, scratchy, and felt like sandpaper. To make matters worse, there was no housekeeping during my stay, and the room had noticeable surface dirt on the tables and floors. Customer service was unhelpful and dismissive of any concerns. We would’ve left, but due to professional activities going on many hotels in the area were sold out. I would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made. This hotel appears as though it’s days from going out of business

The beds were so comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was amazing!!! I enjoyed breakfast and the pool. It's in a great location by a mall and tons of restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone. I cannot wait till I need to go back to Akron

Very comfy beds. Very friendly staff. Handy for both Akron city centre and Cleveland Hopkins airport. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Right mix between cost and facilities for me. Plenty of free parking.
