Do Not Stay Here — Unsafe, Unclean, and Completely Unprofessional I never ever write reviews but feel compelled to if it saves another family from a mess like this. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. After a long day of travel with two toddlers, we arrived only to be told that the room we specifically booked (with two double or queen beds) was not available. Instead, they claimed they were “upgrading” us to a room with one queen bed, a pull-out couch, and a kitchenette — something we purposely did not book because it simply doesn’t work for our family’s needs. A pull-out couch is not an upgrade, especially when traveling with young children. Once in the room, things went from bad to worse. The TV didn’t work, there were no linens for the pull-out couch, and when we asked, the front desk staff brought us one sheet and one pillow — no full set, no comforter, and told us they didn’t know where more pillows were. As we waited for more linens, we pulled out the couch and were horrified to find a bloody-stained mattress. That was the breaking point. When we expressed our concern, the hotel staff offered us two separate rooms, which again was not an option with toddlers — we cannot safely split our family across two rooms. They then offered to call a neighboring hotel and pay for our stay there instead. We accepted, thinking the situation was finally being resolved. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. When we arrived at the second hotel, we had to wait nearly 25 minutes with our exhausted children for the owner to arrive and pay for the room. When he finally showed up, he was abrasive, dismissive, and downright rude. He informed us — very bluntly — that he would only cover one night, not both nights of our original reservation. His “solution” was for us to go back to his hotel the next day and stay the second night — after we had already packed up and moved once. I don’t know about you, but I’m not taking my family back to a hotel with blood-stained mattresses, broken TVs, and no clean bedding. His lack of professionalism, hospitality, and basic human decency was staggering. This hotel is absolutely not suitable for families — or anyone, really — who expects clean accommodations, respectful service, and safe sleeping conditions. Avoid at all costs.

Staff was very nice and helpful. We were assigned a room that was obviously used by people with pets. It smelled pretty bad. Staff came and sprayed and did their best to help. It stilled smelled when we returned from dinner later that night and then when we returned the next evening too. Would suggest letting people choose if they would be ok with a pet room. To us, it was similar to having stayed in a smoking room. We would not have chosen it. But the hotel and our room was very clean otherwise. Walkable to bar/restaurants.

Great stay! The 2nd shift front desk lady needs to listen to guest request better (my wife asked for a room closer to the laundry room when checking in and we were not close at all) but overall, we were very pleased.

Has a long wait to check in and the TV in the room was very outdated. Outside of that it served its purpose.

Room alarm clock didn’t work; ice maker in freezer made noises all night; needed 3 attempts at room keys to get access. Not the worse things, of course. Otherwise it was fine.

They did not have any pet friendly rooms which are on the first floor. They allowed us to stay on the second floor room but at double the pet fee. I have not had this problem at other Candlewood properties. Also the parking lot was dark and some unkempt men were loitering by the hotel. And there were rust stains on the bath tub. The front staff wrote down all of the information on my drivers license which no hotel staff have ever done. I would not return to this hotel. There are at least 5 hotels within walking distance.

We had a reservation and went to check in (after the concert we attended that we were in town for), and they had given away our room and said the hotel was full. What good was having the reservation if they were just going to give our rooms away to the first come first serve?
适合自驾游,位于Elkhart小镇,周边有超市,加油站,麦当劳和熊猫快餐。
热水永远不会热,空调也不能正常工作,因为它不能设置在 71 以下,我不会推荐这家酒店。
