Staff courteous. Bathtub, rm 422, was dirty with rust spots

Guests, outside front door, were very loud, late into the night, 1:30 am and woke me up. I called desk. Got quieter for 3 minutes then continued, just as loud, for another 25 minutes!

Check in was quick and easy. This hotel was completely sold out for the weekend. We stayed here with our dance competition team for three days and two nights. The team hung out in the lobby, ordered take out, and enjoyed some adult beverages. The staff was GREAT all the way around from check in to breakfast team, and housekeeping. The price of the hotel was also a plus with having a complete kitchen, we were able to also enjoy meals in the room to save some money. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

We had trouble with heat not working on the first very cold days of the season. We ended up moving rooms and found similar issues there. The hot tub was not working.

The night manager, Tomas, was very courteous, and as helpful as he could be within his means. The breakfast attendant brought a cup of freshly brewed coffee to our table when the urn had run out of coffee. So the human interactions were good.

Nothing else was acceptable.

We got a suite (Rm 133) with 2 bedrooms and a pull-out bed in the living room. The rooms were smelly. One of beds was saggy. You could feel every spring in the stained pull-out mattress. One of the bedrooms(with the better mattress) had a single functional bedside lamp. The overhead lights did not work and the other side of the bed did not have a lamp.They should not be advertising that suite as sufficient for 5 people.

The vinyl on the cabinets were coming unstuck. The bath tub drain stopper was tricky and require quite a bit of fiddling to get it to drain. No hooks or towel rails in the bathroom. Just one mirror over the sink, no full-length mirrors anywhere. The carpet was held together with duct tapes and the sheer curtains were ripped.

The breakfast was adequate. The saving grace was oatmeal with a good selection of toppings. But the furniture in the dining area and the lobby were in very bad condtion with cracking plether.

The hotel needs a thorough revamp. We have stayed at better motels for half the price. I guess we learnt that there are some establishments that do not live up to the Marriott name.

First night I was going to shower, there was hair on the walls of the bath tub & also along the trim of closet doors, as if dirty towels where used to wipe down areas. Also, I had to call front desk 2 times to complain of group of people drinking on the front patio area & talking loud approx 11:30pm -12:00am. I was told they had brought it up to their attention, but nothing the staff could do on their part and that I had to just deal with it.
