I would give a great review about the hotel general, but the fact I was scammed by the front desk clerk makes me give these small stars. Which I will dispute my credit card bill. We were 20 minutes early. I asked if we were able to check in early otherwise we could come back and he made me think that sure you can check in early. Let me move things around so you can not once did he ask or tell me that this was a charge he even told me to put my credit card in as proof as a identification and I was charged just to check in 20 minutes early without my consent!

We didn’t know there was a breakfast available. Room was fairly clean. Shower had a few spots that were questionable. Vents in bathroom needed cleaned.

They had a maintenance issue and didn’t have a double bed room like I had reserved. They took care of it quickly by giving us 2 rooms for the price of 1.
You learn most about a business when things aren’t going as planned and they passed with flying colors. The night manager was amazing!

They represent Des Moines well
Jim & April took a terrible 1st day experience at a terrible experience at a different hotel and turned the trip into quite an enjoyable stay. The entire place and the staff were fantastic.

Room had a urine smell to it and the bathroom had remnants of something brown on the wall behind the sink. The bed was pretty firm too.
