I had an EXCEPTIONAL Guest Experience! As a business consultant, I have worked with hundreds of retail businesses on improving their Customer/Guest Experience. The Dearborn Inn would be a classic case-study on what a Superior Customer/Guest Experience should be.

The first time I was at the Inn was more than 50 years ago. It was elegant, warm, welcoming and wonderful. And today, it is still all of those things--and more. The recent renovations have made it much more accessible to those of us who are now digital natives but the Inn has retained its special charm. The bar and restaurants are both lovely places to relax and the food at Clara's was wonderful. I did smile, however, when I asked the gentleman at the door which way was Greenfield Village--and he had no idea what I meant. A special shout out to Michael, one of the managers, who is definitely a great ambassador for the Inn. I checked out kicking myself that I did not buy one of the special blankets made for the Inn renovation--and he helped me make that happen after the fact. That's Midwestern hospitality. Thank you Michael and all of the staff at the Inn. So glad to see it renovated!

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms, lobby and resturants are well appointed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I love that parking is free. The beds, pillows and shower are amazing. Overall, amazing stay and highly recommend!!!!

We have been to the Dearborn Inn several times, always an amazing experience. This was our first visit since they did their extensive renovation. Sometimes when they renovate they entire kill the elegance and richness of an old hotel, but this was done so well it really is an improvement. The lobby is gorgeous and the rooms are even more beautiful than before. They kept all the warmth of wood and deep rich colors, but refreshed the whole look. We hardly ever like remodels or renovations, but this is really an amazing new look. Ate in the restaurant - Clara's, (as we always do) for breakfast and it was really a great experience there too. Jay was delightful in the lobby welcoming us each time we returned. He is a great asset to the hotel!

What an amazing environment, greatly enhanced by superior staff. Beautiful and spacious rooms, many seating and meeting places are available to all guests. Delicious food at Clara's and drinks at Four Vagabonds. However, the standout are the staff: Dr Captain Jay Jackson, greets all guests at the front door and assists with luggage and stories to lighten any load. Dominic and the team at Clara's serve up warm and delicious food and kindness. The Ford family is fortunate to have such kind and accomplished staff.

Deerborn inn is a historical and special building. Although the streets were under construction and a bit difficult to find the place and navigate, and I may have missed signage. I arrived late in the evening and the hotel is self-parking which works out well. The room was quiet and peaceful. The room is well decorated with dark blue theme. The bed is comfortable with clean linens and towel. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I have truly enjoyed my stay here. However, the fitness center was kind of hot and AC control was locked. I only wish they can set a comfortable temperature in there. The hotel also double charged my credit card and it took awhile to get it fixed.
