Very disappointing for a Marriott. We were expecting the hotel to be somewhat better than it was. We walked in and the room was outdated. There was no safe to lock up our iPads, etc., we had to take them with us every time we left the hotel. We only had room service one day during our 4 day stay. When we’d return to our room, we’d have to go to the lobby to get fresh towels and coffee for morning. The top drawer in the kitchen was nailed shut as the countertop was not cut correctly to allow it to open. The TV in the bedroom was sitting on an old outdated bureau that had all the knobs removed and each drawer was nailed shut. Whenever the people in the room above us walked across the floor, it sounded like a herd of elephants. The morning breakfast was good and the people who worked the desk were very nice. I would not choose this hotel again.

We stayed for one night while in the Boston area! Loved the hotel!!! We had a 1 bdrm suite and it was great!!! Bed and pillows very comfortable!!! Kitchen was so handy!! Two tv's, all in all a great stay and so convenient!!! Breakfast next day had some hot items and that was nice. Good coffee. Front desk also very helpful when we needed extra pillows and blankets for the pull out couch!!

Horrible hotel in need of a ton of updates. Bathtub rusting. Floor tiles are loose. Carpet baseboard is no longer glued and falling over. Front desk technology is half working. One front desk computer is not working . The card scanner on the other computers is not working. Carpet in the room needs stretching. Outside of building needs maintenance. I could go on.

My daughter left her expensive beauty product in the room and was upset. Shelly at the front desk kept looking for it and calling me to give me updates. It was located and I was able to go back and get it for her. We were at a Dance Competition in Lowell. Shelly went above and beyond, and helped calm an upset teenager. Thank you!

Our second time here visiting family in the Boston area. Overall the place is a great value. We had a 2 bedroom suite and a 1 bedroom suite, loved having the full kitchen and the extra space. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen was fully stocked and even had dish soap and dishwasher detergent. Elly at the front desk was welcoming and put our rooms as close together as possible. The rooms are spacious, beds were clean and comfortable, but the decor needs a serious upgrade. Two years ago we were here and the rooms needed updating, but unfortunately they were still slightly musty and worn looking. Old ugly carpet, uncomfortable couch, dresser drawers broken and off-track, sliding mirror door off track, and our walk-in shower leaked so badly it was like a small pond on the bathroom floor every time we showered! On a positive note, the daily free breakfast was great. Eggs, toast, bagels, sausage or bacon, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, bananas and oranges, yogurt, juice. There was something for everyone and we filled up for the day. And the parking was plentiful and well-lit. The front desk staff were friendly and didn’t even mind when we stayed in the lobby watching the World Cup and playing cards until midnight! We also enjoyed taking a dip in the pool this trip, although the whole separate key at the front desk is a bit of an annoyance and the pool towels stored in an ugly old plastic tub was a bit of a disappointing surprise. I would have loved to given this Residence Inn a five star review, but it’s just not quite there. Hopefully room updates are scheduled soon and we would definitely consider staying there again.
