I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years due to work travel. This is by far the worst. It would not have been so bad, had it not been for the "bait & switch". The two hotels where I would generally stay, were sold out. I did not want to drive too far out of the way for my morning appointment. Ramada, those are nice, right? Reputable? Mid-tier, according to the Wyndam website. The photos looked great...the price was cause for concern. Needed a place to lay my head so, booked online. Pull up and knew this was a mistake. Walked into lobby, thought well, maybe not. The lobby was immaculate. There was even a cozy fire going. Get to room, by driving to the other side of the hotel. The facade on the outside was falling off. Missing completely in places. Entry door to hotel does not lock. No key needed to get in. The bed and headboard looked new. That is where it ended. The bathroom was awful. Only the mirror light worked, so, it was dark. There was a huge stain on the carpet. The cloth chair looked stained and dusty. The non-carpeted floor looked new, but it was sticky. Completely uncomfortable all night...but for $55 should I expect more? @Wyndam should really look into properties bearing their name.

Our stay in the Ramada in Clarion PA was nice. The lady at check-in let us in the room even though we were very early. The room faced the (indoor) swimming pool, but we heard no noise whatsoever in our room. Beds were comfortable. The room itself has plenty of room and was clean, no problems or issues. Bathroom was also clean with all the amenities you need. Bathtub was kind of slippery so you had to be careful not to fall. Breakfast was good as well. Plenty of choices. Meat, eggs, patatoes, cerial, juices etc. All in all a good and quiet motel that meets the need. Would stay again.

This is not a place for someone who cannot walk up steps as there isn't an elevator. Overall, the staff was friendly and courteous. This is a very old hotel that has been well kept with some minor areas needing attention.

We arrived around midnight. Our room smelled like smoke, and was not very clean. (Mold around the shower glass, rips in the wallpaper by the bed, a dead bug was in between the sheets and covers) It seems that the hotel may be getting updated, which it desperately needs. In the morning, I showered and came out to wake up my daughter, only to find a bedbug crawling on her bed. I took a picture and video to show that it was alive. I will say, I appreciated that the on site manager at the time did not charge me for our room that night and kindly removed our 2nd night stay with no additional charges. I hope the situation was resolved for future guests.

Asked for three straight nights to fix the shower drain. Needless to say but it never got done. Linen service was unreliable. Staff was o.k, but you could tell that did not want to be bothered with any thing.

Looked on the website and it showed that it was a beautiful place. There is no bar and grill like the site says. The pool had stuff floating in it and was a green color. When you came in the door the floor had cigarette butts and dirt on it for the whole two days we were there.

Didn't take long to realize I had made a really bad decision in staying at this hotel. But here's a summary of how it went. Didn't expect this from Ramada, definitely not from Wyndam group who I have stayed in the past a few time. 1. Took over an hour from walking into the lobby to finding and moving into the room assigned to me 2. The location of the room was on 2nd floor and i had to use the fire stairs as there's no other entrance that provides easy access ; also major inconvenience as there was no elevator I had to carry all the luggage up stairs after a 11hr. drive. 3. The room assigned to me was nowhere to be found - as the number on the door was wrong; went all the way back to the front office only to see that she had no idea about rooms but kept saying "here's the map... the room in between 255 and 259 is 257.. just get in" - when I took her advice and went back I see the room number was scratched off but was numbered 247 ; I was hesitant and the key didn't work as well but I decided to walk in and tried a third time and got lucky; thankfully no on was there 4. The bed was made but the linen was not fresh and could tell the wrinkles were from being used. 5. Mattress has hair follicles; thankfully the bath towels were fresh so ended up spreading them on the mattresses before I sat on it! 6. Toilet flushed once and kept flowing and one on duty to help except the front office person. 7. Shower doors dirty from soap scum - clearly not cleaned after prior guest 8. At 2:30 am finally my body gave in and put me to sleep for about 4 hrs. 9. Jumped out of bed at 6:30am brushed with my own water from the gallon jugs I was carrying 10. Checked out at 715ish - only to be greeted by a person who literally looked like had just gotten off the bed after a deep sleep !

Worst, dirtiest hotel stay ever. Smoking is allowed in some rooms and the place was muggy and stuffy. The only window that could be opened in some rooms was a very small one and we could not get it opened in our room at all. There was visible dirt in the bathroom and the bedroom. Staff at check in and out was not very friendly. The whole place needs an upgrade. It was the cheapest in the area and now I know why. Worst breakfast w fake eggs. Yucky potatoes, pancakes, good sausage, packaged eggs. When i checked out I was asked if everything was ok. I replied that it was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Two women staff were there and made no apologies. I said I had been unable to open the window and she asked why. I said I didn’t know but had tried 3x.

My husband and I stopped overnight at this Ramada, on our way to NJ. I typically prefer Marriott properties when I'm traveling, however, none were available for the night we needed. It seems that this area is quite popular with kayak/canoe enthusiasts, there were very few hotels available for our last minute booking. As we pulled up, the hotel looked like your basic Ramada property, nothing special. I was however, surprised by the very inviting lobby...I could picture sitting there in front of the fire, with a beverage. Check in was fast and efficient, the front desk clerk was pleasant. We drove around the side of the building, to the door the clerk directed us to; you could see that the grounds need a good sprucing up. As we walked up to the entry door (which was propped open, even though there is a sign on the door prohibiting this), and were assaulted by an overwhelming odor of cigarette smoke. There was a bench placed right next to the door, it appears to be a favorite spot for smokers. I paid for an upgraded room with a courtyard view, and that is what we received. We had a first floor corner room, it had a picture window overlooking an indoor courtyard, on the opposite end of where the pool is located. Strictly speaking, courtyard is really a euphemism in this case. Yes, there is a large area surrounding the indoor pool, but like most of this hotel, it's been allowed to flounder. The shrubs are sadly overgrown and unhealthy looking. The point here, don't waste your money on the upgrade. The room itself was not horrible (though I was reluctant to remove my shoes), it looked like they did invest in decent bedding; even the pillows were fine (unusual in most hotels) for a one night stay. There was a small dorm-sized fridge (the freezer area was completely frozen over and not usable). My biggest complaint would be the bathroom. Two people can not fit in the bathroom, unless one of them is in the shower. The only lighting in the bathroom, was the backlit vanity mirror...unacceptable! And there wasn't an exhaust, so you have to shower with the door open. As an older person, the floor in the entryway and bathroom, were very concerning. EXTREMELY slippery, even if you were wearing shoes. I placed one of the bathroom towels on the floor of the shower (no bath tub here), to ensure one of us didn't slip and hurt ourselves. The one plus in the bathroom was the shallow entry and barn-style shower door. Breakfast is included in the cost of the room at this Ramada. We were pleasantly surprised by the hot and cold options available. Scrambled eggs, sausage links, bacon, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, along with coffee and juices. The staff did an excellent job of replenishing everything in a timely manner, and bussing tables. I would almost say that the breakfast was the highlight of our stay at this Ramada. As I said previously, this hotel isn't horrible. But when you charge Marriott prices for a Ramada hotel, one expects more
